I've you're looking for something good, no matter the style, I seriously recommend some Monster Magnet.
Their main musical style is called Stoner Rock, but they go into various rock and metal related genres. They have something of an old rock feel to them that nonetheless knows how to keep it high and heavy.

They're like a harder Living Colour, and some of their stop rather obviously influenced RHCP.
Punkabilly with the slightest metal edge.

DJ Ephixa does some pretty fricking awesome dubstep/electro remixes of videogame music. It sounds even better when NonkLikeJoshua raps over the top! I can't post any vids because I'm on my iPod but I'd recommend his Song Of Storms remix with Joshuas rapping
As far as I'm concerned Big Black is the best thing that ever happened to music, but the unfortunate thing is some people take it to seriously and totally miss the joke. I've tired my extensive collection of music and I need some different stuff. I like almost anything, but some of my favourite bands include Tool, Radiohead, The Beatles, Wu-Tang Clan, Parkway Drive, Metallica, Anberlin, At The Drive-In, Foo Fighters, Nine Inch Nails, Pendulum, Netsky, deadmau5 and Nirvana. Basically anything that's good, no matter what genre or style. I really enjoy obscure covers and remixes as well, so those would be much appreciated.

Husker Du and the Pixies are two of my favourite bands of all time, been listening to them for years.
