I LOOOVE this game!!
Even though I spend most of my time trying to find new horses, my first got stolen, my second I accidentally shot in the head while hunting, and my third got run over by a train while I was trying to get a criminal run over! But apart from that I do like wandering around hunting things

Poker's always good. Was very glad it's proper poker. It's a shame the AI are absolutely stupid.

Betting 240/250 chips, then folding on the river...
Poker has become the easiest way for me to make money since I figured out how the AI plays I have been able to bluff it almost every time, and figure when it actually has a good hand long before I put to much money in.

Haven't lost a horse yet. Just go grab one of the black ones running around and break it. Good chance it will be a decent horse. I did tie up a guy and set him on the train tracks to get run over, but I got board before he actually was run over cause the train was taking a lot longer to get there then I thought it would.

I had way too much fun playing high stakes Liar's Dice in Thieves' Landing. Oh, it's thrilling. Other than that, I enjoy seeing Marston get wasted, fall over and pass out. It never gets old.

Yeah its actually a woman you have to put on the tracks. Took me three times for it to register the Achievement though.

My favorite activity is bounty hunting. I tend to put on the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack when I do. Cause I'm cool like that, obviously.

As cool as a nerd can be at least. Which turns out to be not very amongst 95 percent of the entire population of everything ever.

Have to agree with you there. The stallion I got seems to be a Kentucky Saddler which is pretty fast, he's been with me since that mission all the way to Mexico where I'm currently a few story missions in. Apparently if you ride them enough they keel over and die after a few hours but he's still going strong.

My brother has low enough honour that he has a black horse with a skull like white area around its face, along with some nasty looking scars on its legs and flanks.

For me, Liars dice could easily become an addiction. I remember having to wait untill a certain time for a mission to become availiable, so I went and got drunk, then played Liars Dice in the saloon, in the middle of a massive thunderstorm, that was a pretty awesome 30 minutes.

I found Liar's Dice to be curiously fun. So is walking away from a duel challenge, then dragging sad challenger behind your horse with the lasso.

I've been enjoying it, my favorite sequences being when you get to ride shotgun and take out hostile pursuers (as well as getting to play with the gatling guns ). I don't think it's a free-roaming activity (and someone please tell me otherwise if such is the case). That and dragging bounties through the street by their necks :D

Granted it hasn't been out that long, but one thing that has me irritated is that the further I go the more game-breaking bugs/oddities I find. (Failing a mission after "Skipping to Destination" has happened a few times, and failing a mission because a lawman was walking on the freaking road during a horse race or finding out that the house I was told to burn had a "friendly" in it, causing me to not only fail the mission but get the entire Mexican army after me really pissed me off)

Big fan of the treasure hunting missions myself. I thought the maps were pretty clever.

Pity there were only ten of them :(

I love it.

So far my favorite pastime has been looking for cougars, not finding cougars, then getting killed by cougars on my way to the next story mission. (Seriously, this happened like... 4 or 5 times.)

I also enjoy recreating omaha beach, with myself in the role of the nazis, and an endless supply of perpetually spawning enraged grizzly bears playing the role of the allied landing force.

The spend most of the time playing the story missions here and there but I want the "Legend of the West" outfit so I've been focusing on the challenges. Also, who the fuck knew Liars Dice is fun? I spent an hour playing it yesterday.

Those maps are so bloody clever. Even with all the exploring I've done I'm having a bit of a hard time with them. Can't find number seven but I wont rest till I have that freaking gold

My favorite moment was putting it back in it's case and playing something else.

But to play along I'd suppose it would have to be memorizing where all the ovepowered weapons are in multiplayer maps and laying waste to idiots desperately trying to aim a winchester repeater at me. (Pst, rifles are awful in mp)

I love hunting in that game, just adore it. I've netted myself a tiny profit from hunting wolves in Mexico and Buffalo in West Elizabeth. :D
I'd be shocked if you pulled in a loss when you aren't spending money.

I've never sold anything, don't particularity plan to. I hoard in all games.

Edit: Also, has anyone else developed an emotional attachment to their horse? The one the comes whenever you hit the up button. I have. ^^ Me and him have been through a lot. He's brown with white splodges. No idea where I got him. I killed
the stallion you get at the start of the game
in my first ride of him. Yay for tall cliffs. I feel like I should name my horse.
Really? I had that stallion the whole game!
EXTREME ENDING SPOILERS
I even passed on the horse to my son at the end of the game

7... is that the one in Mexico that looks like a giant rampant rabbit? Took me a while to find that one but when I did I couldn't believe how obvious it had been all along.

Gambling. I love poker, I spent about 3 hours total clearing the tables in each town early in the game. Then of course I discovered Liar's Dice in Thieves Landing, which is easy, you never lose, and you make 200$ profit every 5 minutes. That's not a game, that's a cheat code. Also, I swear Blackjack is rigged in this game. As opposed to, say, Yakuza 3 where it's normal Blackjack, in RDR the dealer stands with >19 about 8 our of 10 times. That is bullshit.

Well I only got the game yesterday so I haven't done much.

Anyway, can someone tell me how to capture a bounty? I tried it three times and I keep killing them by accident.

Edit: If it involves the rope, never mind, I just put two and two together.

As soon as I get it (bloody Russian delays), I know what my favorite activity would be.
Poker. The fact that you can play poker and the fact that you can actually cheat leads me to believe it will be very entertaining.
