Title says all. For me it would be 20 Million Miles To Earth, a film about a monster from Venus arriving on Earth in Italy. I use "monster" loosely though, as Ymir was as harmless as they come to humans perfectly content to eat sulfur and be alone. Ymir is our monster of the movie and it is simply put a movie about how a harmless alien is made a monster. See, Ymir would love nothing more than to be left alone, but humanity constantly treats him like shit until he snaps and becomes dangerous (and when you've got a fucking pitch fork stuck in your back who can blame him). Perhaps it's time for a reminder that sometimes monsters don't start out that way is the gist of my reasoning.

Edit: Actually, I think this deserves a better justification. While I found it to be an enjoyable movie, 20 Million Miles To Earth never took off like The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms or Jason and the Argonauts did. It's a shame really, because, despite the amount of exposition, the end rampage is a sight to behold and it would be interesting to see how it would look with modern technology and effects. For those who want to see the rampage, here is a link to the whole film, then go to around 1:04:00

I'd dig a remake of the Human Centipede franchise, and I don't mean it factiously. I mean the first two (eventually three) movies are all bad, but I think if somebody decided to do a remake of the movies that's either completely a comedy (Dark Comedy, surely) or completely straight, it could be kind of interesting, instead of the awful, boring, not really disgusting movies they are now. They are movies made for teenagers to test their endurances with their friends who have easy gag reflexes. They could be legitimately scary movies, but somebody needs to do it, and I guarantee they could actually have suspense, terror and they could be, not really required viewing, but at least tense enough to warrant spending an hour and a half watching them instead of being the bad punch line of an already bad joke.

I would quite like remastered Crash Bandicoot 1-3 games. They were fun.

A Destroy All Humans redo. Maybe with a big sandbox company like Rockstar (or maybe not. Can't trust big companies)

Maybe an Eragon series that actually follows the plot of the books. Same for World War Z. And Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. And most other movies based on books.

Can we please get a Syndicate reboot? And no, I don't mean that godawful piece of FPS shite that was released a few years ago, I mean a honest to god evil MegaCorp management game, where you control and outfit your cyborg-agents and send them to assassinate your rivals our protect your bussiness interests wth the ultimate goald to TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!! (cue evil laughter)

No, I mean, seriously game devs, would that be so terribly difficult to accomplish?

The Great Escape. Which I believe the BBC is working on as a TV series. I might be wrong on that, but I hope they do.

Lolita, because I found the first two films unsatisfactory and didn't explore the erotic nature of Humbert and the titular "nymphet"'s relationship enough.

Spiderman 2 (Game) all the way, HD graphics, maybe an updated map and most importantly the EXACT same swinging mechanics.

Saints Row 1, the story was great, but the gameplay was absolute garbage. I'm a huge fan of the games 2 and on...but holy hell I could not force myself to play 1 through to the end.

I honestly can't think of any movie remakes I'd like to see without the immediate fear of it becoming a big, bland PG13 3D CGI fest.

I wouldn't mind seeing a remake of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers for the silver screen. I'd personally like to have it expand on the heroes, villains, and the world they live in. An example would be to take a page from Zyuranger and have Rita Repulsa's decision to become evil was caused by the death of her son. What I don't want is for this to become a "grim & gritty" relaunch of the series. From what we've seen in Avengers and Pacific Rim, there is a balance between the serious and the silly.

How about the original Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain? Granted, I still like it, but this bloodfest celebration of Kain's earlier days deserves to join its 3D cousins.

Yeah, but the combat would need to be retooled because it was shit.

Front Mission.

Purely for a second chance outside of Japan. I did go through the trouble of finding and patching a few of the games that did not make it out of Japan but there is still more that does not have a fan translation yet, and fan translation is not timely or safe and the way the story works means that playing all the games is highly important to understanding every thing. So a fresh start could work wonders.

Resident evil 1+2, crash bandicoot, morrowind with better coombat.
Didn't Resident Evil 1 already have a remake? With one of the differences being the intro of that scary and unkillable Lisa Trevor?

Battle Royale. I loved the movie when I first saw it, but then I read the manga and was blown away. I had never read anything like it, something that made you care about so many characters only to kill them off one by one. Which really made the movie look bad since I couldn't really care about any of the characters in it since I never got to know them. Naturally you couldn't do it like the manga since it would make the movie 30 hours long.

But it could work on TV. As a TV-show it could work perfectly, giving viewers sufficient time to get to know the characters and therefore care about their deaths, like Game Of Thrones. They could even make good use of the fact that The Program (that's what it's called in the manga) is a TV-show and have experts rave about the performance of the contestants like Junior Bruce in Death Race 2000 ("All right, all right, and yes-sirree! A clean hit! A perfect hit! And no pain for the target.") Just imagine watching one of the contestants (that you care about) get brutally slaughtered by one of its classmates only to have it cut to the studio where one of the experts gleefully says: "And that's his fourth kill in two hours and twelve minutes! Amazing! He absolutely shattered the old record which was 4 kills in 5 hours and 37 minutes! I just love this kid, he's incredible! But, he still needs 10 more kills to beat the old record of 13 kills in one contest, and that will be very difficult as there's only 15 possible kills left for him. Let's wish him the best of luck!"

... I would watch it.

I'd imagine if someone was to do it, they'd have to bring in an actual team of scientists instead of just one as the antagonists. So as to allow for brain surgeons to alter their mind to make it a truly bestial creature hellbent on revenge and murder. Then let loose some victims to be murdered and just make it a full blown Slasher akin to the old Friday the 13th. But instead of having the Hockey Mask and machete wielding Jason, you instead have a primitive beast made up of 3-12 human beings.

OT: Probably a remake of the Crash and Spyro series', but done PROPERLY. Not this Mind Over Mutant or Skylanders bullshit. No proper games akin to their old stuff. Also I'd be open to a remake of the Croc series, since I've not seen him around in a loooooooong time.

CAPTCHA: Mad Science. How do you do this Captcha, seriously? How?

The Hulk

We finally have an actor that can portray him in a way most people can enjoy and we already have an established Marvel Movie Universe to work with. We know he can be a blast when he has other enjoyable characters to interact with - work with that!

Darn ninjas!

But seriously, they need to remake it with Mark Ruffalo. He just GETS Bruce Banner. Norton just didn't click for me; the way he played it just didn't fit the fact that Banner is a science nerd.
