Hideo Kojima, most known for his work with the Metal Gear Solid series, has confirmed that players will be facing skeletons in the newest entry of the Silent Hill series.
"Players wanted it, players demanded it and we delivered on it. I get chills up my spine already knowing I'll have to fight such scary creatures in 1080p at 60 frames per second" said Kojima.
When asked why such a common trope in the horror genre will be used in a series known for psychological horror, Kojima responded defensively.
"Look, we're basically all out of ideas. We can't have Norman be a killer because a) it's already been done to death in previous games and b) the fan-girls won't buy it if their celebrity crush smothers women to death with a pillow. By having such enemies, players won't feel any moral repercussions because they're f**king skeletons!"
"Another reason we wanted skeletons is because we spent all the money getting Guillermo del Toro and Norman Reedus on the project to begin with. Right now, we have just enough money to allow players to walk around a small apartment with a skeleton in the closet and another one inside the player's body for the only few scares in the game" Kojima said
Look for Spooky Hills to release soon
