The labs were very quiet, either we'd cleaned out all of the zombies, or they were waiting for me, but I doubt that was the case. I walked on until I found my way back to the corridor. I saw the refreshment dispenser that we had tipped over to get some food. No hostiles in sight, nothing. I sat down for a while to think, then I remembered my family...I shook my head and tried to stop thinking about them, but I couldn't. I pulled out a photograph of them, and began to weep over it as I saw my beautiful wife. I dropped the photograph, and left it on the floor.
I heard tapping on the floor, I pulled out my pistol, ready to fire, but then I saw her...her sea-blue eyes caught mine, and she walked off to the left...
"ANGELA!" I screamed as I saw my wife beckon me to follow her, then everything came to light.
Am I...hallucinating? I followed her axiously, I can't believe I've seen my beloved again, she stood near a broken elevator, the door opened. She opened her arms, requesting that I hug her. I ran toward her desperately, but fell through the shadow. The elevator door closed, and did not budge. The lift didn't go up or down, it just stayed there, I was alone, my mind had led me to this trap, and now I had time to reflect on my thoughts.
