Awesome indeed! Maybe you've taken it a bit to far. I would've just put his/her clothes on the floor and cleaned my shoes with them!

Alright, my gut reaction to coming into a thread about a revenge story was to say something to the effect of 'grow up'. But no, I approve of this. I approve of this wholeheartedly. Don't let the bastards get you down.

Well as long as you didn't get caught

Then good for you, hopefully that person won't be such a douche next time

Maybe the bleach was a bit too far, I'd have just dumped them in a sink/bowl of water.

Not to say I don't think it was pretty funny :p

I would have gone the extra step and seen if there was any way you could change the drier to ruin any thing they had in there

Justified. I'm a uni student so I know your pain. Friggin' douche bag students stealing my dryer time!.
I believe in Texas it is considered justifiable homicide to kill a man for stealing your drier time.

[small]Of course some people believe in Santa Clause, that doesn't mean it's true.[/small]

Wait a minute... chef whites.

If they recognised the clothing they would have known you were a professional so they weren't just being an inconvenience and taking your job but also risking your job.

On the other hand not many people wear chef whites, they will know that the person who hurt them is a chef... so maybe your retribution is not so anonymous.

The phrase "Revenge is a dish best served cold" isn't just good advice for savouring your retribution but also that it's isn't wise to stike back in the passion of them moment.

Take your time, make a plan, only strike back if you truly can't get over what has been don't to you. And when you strike, don't make it a tit for tat, hit them such a devastating way that they are utterly incapable of ever responding and ESPECIALLY make sure they they will never repeat the injustice to you nor anyone else.

And I don't mean brutal, you can't break the law as that gives them more ammunition to use against you, nor open yourself to being sued, you have to ultimately trick them into doing it to them-self so they don't have any blame to project onto but themselves nor feel like a victim.

Really the key to good revenge is irony, the best revenge is to exploit the selfish emotion that they perpetrated in committing the injustice against you. Like for example turn up the heat on their drier to maximum and extra long cycle but make them think they burned their own clothes.

Bad example, see why it's best to take your time and think about it?

I was about to say that you probably over reacted, until I read the above post. Had that ever happened to me, I would find the sonovabluefootedboobie and then steal his laundry and hid it. So he would never have it again. And then, the next time that guy goes to do his laundry, take his laundry again and hid it too.
*Edit* Wow, now that the rage has passed and I'm back with you guys in the land of the living, let me just say that I think it'd be really funny if some guy posted "Hey...that happened to me..."

I probably would've just taken their clothes and then put mine in the dryer.

Congratulations, you've just made yourself a bigger asshole than they are.
Right... So what he should have done is absolutely nothing, is that what you'd suggest?
If we don't retaliate to other people doing wrong by us, then they have no reason to stop. People need to know there are consequences to their actions. I can pretty much guarantee the dickhead who did this will have a reason to rethink trying it a second time.
You can argue that the reaction was too drastic, but to say he should have done nothing is ridiculous. Thinking like that leads to being a door mat for people to walk all over and scrape the shit off their shoes.
