Wait a minute... chef whites.
If they recognised the clothing they would have known you were a professional so they weren't just being an inconvenience and taking your job but also risking your job.
On the other hand not many people wear chef whites, they will know that the person who hurt them is a chef... so maybe your retribution is not so anonymous.
The phrase "Revenge is a dish best served cold" isn't just good advice for savouring your retribution but also that it's isn't wise to stike back in the passion of them moment.
Take your time, make a plan, only strike back if you truly can't get over what has been don't to you. And when you strike, don't make it a tit for tat, hit them such a devastating way that they are utterly incapable of ever responding and ESPECIALLY make sure they they will never repeat the injustice to you nor anyone else.
And I don't mean brutal, you can't break the law as that gives them more ammunition to use against you, nor open yourself to being sued, you have to ultimately trick them into doing it to them-self so they don't have any blame to project onto but themselves nor feel like a victim.
Really the key to good revenge is irony, the best revenge is to exploit the selfish emotion that they perpetrated in committing the injustice against you. Like for example turn up the heat on their drier to maximum and extra long cycle but make them think they burned their own clothes.
Bad example, see why it's best to take your time and think about it?
