This isnt really on topic (and for that I appolagize) but I am always amazed by the fact that I've never had Hellsbells or Hellsbells5594 (the two names I go by) be taken. OT I hate those people too, although I wouldn't call it pretentious.

I simply can't believe you're defending these people Have you seen the amount of people with XXXs in their names? They are not all in whatever clan/community/group you're on about, and if they are, they picked the most stupid clantag of all time.

Straight Edge is a lifestyle with hundreds of thousands of people who claim, and millions of adherents to the rules. The rules are this:

Do not smoke

Do not drink

Do not use narcotics

Do not have promiscuous sex

If you adhere to those rules, to be considered Straight Edge, you just have to claim it. There is no central structure or organization, but it has roots in hardcore punk music and most edgers like hardcore.

I doubt that all of them on Live, the computer or the general internet are "Straight Edge". They're probably a minority among users of three Xs, with most of them just thinking it's "cool", and makes them look "pro" to put Xs randomly in their names.

Now let me say that I LOVE it when people on Xbox Live think their name looks cool when it consists of a bunch of X's and alternating upper and lower case letters. Also, I think the most used words in Gamertags are iTz, Elite, Sniper, and Killa/Killer.
