Shit, I half expect this to be a joke and for him to walk out of his coffin grinning flipping the bird at the Reaper.
I don't care what you posted earlier. Saying someone should die is horrible and there is no excuse for it.funguy2121 said:Didn't you just answer your own question?kayisking said:You are a horrible, horrible person. How can you say such a thing?

Thanks for pointing that out, hadn't noticed. And I don't even feel bad for laughing at it, seeing how I didn't personally know the person who died. I don't feel even the slightest bit of sadness about that, which is only natural, but it's quite interesting to see people being sad. It's not like he was your hero of in any way inspired your minds or touched your hearts.DarkRyter said:Aw man, that is a really poorly worded title.
(1) + (2) = ?? You don't get to put words in my mouth after saying you don't care what I said or what I meant while criticizing what I said and what I meant. Your umbrage is unwarranted. This will be the fourth or fifth time I've said it (over a dozen if you count the first post I made that has been quoted by numerous people, including you).kayisking said:(1)I don't care what you posted earlier. I fully agree with you. Regardless of how "nice" a guy he may have been, he was a fool that quite frankly asked for something like this to happen. I had an Uncle that smoked and drank his life away to a heart attack in his early-60s. I wasn't sad, I was ashamed of him. He let all of his amazing natural talent go to waste instead of getting help for it. He was weak-willed and denied aid from the family... I never shed a single tear for him, I was more pissed that he didn't use his gifts to make a productive living.this isnt my name said:I dont care how people on deathrow die, I dont care if its considered better, he drank, he drove aft drinking, he crashed, he deserved it or risking other peoples lives. Want my sympathy after a car accident, dont drink and drive.Vault Girl said:this isnt my name said:You say "lovable rebels" I say idiots with too much time on thier hands. No one did what those guys did at the time, they were just lovable rebels who made us cringe and laugh (for those who watch it)this isnt my name said:He deserved it. All drink drivers do imo, its one think to risk your life, its another to risk other peoples.
I also find this quite stupid, people are mourning the los of a guy who got famous for doing stupid, unproductive shit. Anyone going to post a thread for every dead doctor, nurse, policeman, soldier, etc ?
No one deserves to die like that, its a shame you feel like that.
Yes people do, if you drive while drunk and risk other peoples lives, you deserve to die imo.
bursting in to flames is not an acceptable death, in America people of death row get a better death. Yes it was stupid and dangerous, but i don't think i can judge someone like that, let alone enough to wish that on anybody.
They earned a lot of money or doing that "stupid and unproductive stuff" for the entertainment of others, obviously others like it enough to make them that famous
So what ? Footballers get millions to play a chidrens game, its not productive. Just becuase they made alot of money dosentmake them productive, it just means lots of people have more money than sense. Its like saying people on big brother re productive becuase they win money I assume.
I'm not sure what you guys expect me to do about this post. He's entitled to his opinion.funguy2121 said:I suppose I feel similar to the way I felt when I found out that bin Ladin had been killed. I'm not a fan of celebrating anyone's death, but a Jackass? He was being a jackass, drunk driving, which I'm sure was not incidental in his death.
Too bad it wasn't Steve-O, though.
You just put into words all my thoughts about this incident. Any incident involving celebreties, really. Why is it that the death/alcoholism/cancer/marriage/divorce/whathaveyou of celebrities is so much more important and noteworthy than the same thing happening to my neighbour?funguy2121 said:Well, you're definitely a Jackass fan! Please read the bolded text again. The emotion I was describing was ambivalence, not happiness. The Steve-O joke was definitely in poor taste, so I'm sure he'd appreciate it. What I meant to say is that I'm surprised he's still alive.
No, Ryan didn't deserve to die, and the other person who died in the accident who may well not have been drinking didn't deserve to die either. Honestly though, if someone from Jersey Shore died I don't think there'd be memorial threads on the Escapist, and to me the only difference is the type of bodily fluids the "stars" like to bathe in. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe this person made a difference in the lives of others when he wasn't helping his friend destroy his parents' house and covering himself in human excrement. I'm not being cheeky; if there's information you think I should be aware of, please include it.
Otherwise, where's the memorial for the other person who died? The person who in all likelihood did more productive things in his life than staple his balls to his leg? Where is HIS love?
He made people laugh, and he seemed like a decent guy. If you don't like what he did with his life, that's cool, but don't come here and ***** us out for mourning someone who entertained us.this isnt my name said:You say "lovable rebels" I say idiots with too much time on thier hands.
