Something which has been amusing me lately. Guys saying that they prefer 2D girls to their 3D counterparts. Now I'm not having a go, I don't mind that you feel that way, I just want to know why some people consider real life girls pig disgusting. Of course you have to deal with all the smells and fluids of a real girl no matter how much perfume they use, whereas it's completely optional with 2D girls whether or not you want to imagine they have any body fluids or unpleasant smells.

Maybe part of the problem is holding the ideal girl on a pedestal as a completely sanitary, angelic creature who does not poop, does not breathe, does not have any of the human bodily functions that a male has. Are there any more reasons?
... wat?

I mean, I know there are a bunch of fanboys and whatnot who seem to worship animated women, etc.

But... I've never heard of anybody actually stating that they felt the way you just described.

I'm sure such people exist, I'm not trying to dispute you or anything; this is just the first time I've ever really thought about the idea of people preferring 2D cartoon women to women in reality.

That said; I have to wonder why as well.

I don't tend to like real life people because I am an Asexual. Sometimes drawn sexual content is great because it can depict very strong emotions. Really only applies to furries, otherwise i don't like even drawn humans.

People suck. I mean I have no problem falling in love with somoene, but they aren't exactly a turn on for me. Cuddling helps, but people just aren't very attractive to me. I don't know why, but I don't have that thought that people are sexy or that I would want sex with them.

Besides, sex is painful or just uncomfortable for me. Don't know why but I don't care. I don't have desire.

Honestly? It's because no girl can compare to my very lovely magical girl, Sayaka-chan!

I mean, come on, who else would have such a grand such of justice in reality? I doubt there are few if any women out in real life that want to become champions of justice. Since there aren't, I'm just gonna stick with my beautiful waifu.

I've seen this a handful of times and the whole "2D > 3D" attitude most likely spawns from no 3D woman giving the guy the time of day.

Everyone who has posted so far has been incorrect.

The "3DPD movement" or whatever the fuck i just read, has nothing to do with biological functions or even physical attraction in some cases. The reason we feel this way about our 2D girls is because none of them, not one, is a *****.

It's that simple. 2D girls do not have bitchy attitudes unless they are written to be tsundere and tsundere girls can be some of the most attractive.

So in actuality, no one holds it against girls for being human, only for being bitches or having personalities that will never compare to those in the 2D world.

(yes i did make an account because you're all wrong)

If 2D women are superior because they lack what is "disgusting" or undesirable about their 3D counterparts, then in what sense are they "women"? Only in a totally idealistic sense far removed from women actually are.

Women are merely savage beasts that we have glorified as something totally contrary to reality.

The truth is, I just think that 2D women look better. Now I am a shut-in, most of my time is spent watching anime and playing videogames. When I want to fap, why would I choose something that does not look attractive to me over something that does? I don't hate women either, I don't have a reason to hate them since they haven't done anything to me.

Live and let live, this does not affect you in anyway.

if that was true then they wouldn't prefer fapping to anime than to real life or non-anime girls, thats the main topic here

OP confirmed for not knowing the difference between the moronic 'lingo' of users of 4chan's /a/ board (and those who have spread beyond it) and serious statements.

Not calling OP an idiot mind you, just saying it seems they took something as being literal that was in fact a joke.

Anyone who is attracted to a 2 dimensional drawing to the point of claiming it's a 'relationship' or 'emotional support pillar' needs to seek mental help, that's what we call borderline schizophrenia.
Just what I was thinking. I was under the impression that the whole 3DPD thing was just a meme /a/ adopted.
Not that there aren't actual issues surrounding women being idolized as some sort of self-contained system of pure sunshine.
Oh yeah, there are girls/women being idolized like that, but this meme common on /a/ is a generalized sweeping moronic statement against women as a whole, but is apparently this 'hilarious' in joke. I've always found it kind of... Unfunny to be honest, mostly because /a/ is full of a bunch of shut in neckbeard virgins. Most of them seem to not have a problem with that, I just find it shallow that there are people there who use it and really have no room to make such a statement, even if it is entirely a joke.

I'm not whiteknighting here, women are completely capable of defending themselves... It's just that it's one of the most unfunny things that seems to has come out of /a/. I get the joke, it's just not funny. Like the people who continue to push 'arrow to the knee', it's 'that' level of unfunny.

I think it is ok to feel that way. Sometimes it is a real preference, sometimes it is just a phase.
Either way it is better than pedophiles.

I don't get where this whole "well, real women will leave you in emotional trauma" etc, etc, thing, when we started off discussing what people wank to, didn't we?

If I had a problem with other people's potentially unpleasant bodily functions, I'd be the biggest hypocrite since Ayn Rand.

In any case, such people aren't seeing the other side of it all.

The smell thing goes both ways. You develop a physically close relationship with someone, their natural scent/chosen perfume becomes extremely sentimental for you.

The warmth of another person next to you.

The sensation of their mouth on yours.

The weight and feel of a nice breast in your hand.

And that's my personal/eloquent/creepy(?) insight on this thread, y'all.
You were actually pretty good up until you got to the breast part. Then it became less poetic.

Oh wow your avatar... that made me laugh so much, thank you :-D

OT: I guess if a few people want to think that then hey, it's their loss, more real women for the rest of us. I've never thought animé people were that attractive anyway with their strange proportions and monotone skin.

I'm sure it's already been said, but I don't think it's the physical element that turns these people off. It's that fact that woman are real individuals with personalities. Who you have to talk to occasionally. Who won't bend to your every whim. Who tend to object when you expect them to act like a cross between a personal slave and sexbot.

I thought it quite eloquent, reminded me a bit of the Song of Solomon.

That sounds about right.

However, that was an initial line that popped into my head. Vivid memories, and all that.

Also, how in the Hell is this thread still going?!
