Interesting how people are dehumanizing the kid or saying "It was his fault"

Perfect world bias at it's best
I'm glad they dehumanized him, I don't think I could have kept watching if he wasn't so annoying.
By "People" I was referring to some of the members on this forum, but thanks for proving my point

Scary! It's not a movie, it's a vision of the future! That's exactly what's going to happen! I would have liked to see more of the actual killing and maybe see him stopped.

Do you have any work you could link? That would be cool.
Ah the only stuff Online would either be my older work(untextured highschool crap) Or still frame renders from some of my Ad work i was doing last year.

I might be shameless and plug my Portfolio at later date, but right now needs more work to be honest.

I actually found it kind of endearing... the robot's really cute too! =D

I normally don't like the idea of "Robot goes crazy and starts killing people", but when you really think about, did he even go crazy at all? Blinky only ever did what he was told. It's hinted that the rain might have damaged him somehow, but I don't think that was enough by itself.

The moral of the story is, if you tell your robot to kill everyone, don't forget to do a factory reset, not just a plain one =p

(Actually, this does kind of remind me of something unrelated, during the Cold War, the Czechslovakians painted a bunch of military installations bright pink and yellow - they reasoned the enemy wouldn't try to destroy cute stuff! There's your fun fact for today! =) )

Nice vid, althoguh I don't think it's any creepy at all. It's more like really sad, how the robot kinda "snapped" and just did what he was told to do by the (more than annoying) kid.

Why can't the ghost in the machine be nice once in a while? Why couldn't it be Casper the friendly robot?

I thought it was amazing quality and alot better than most films they make nowadays, but I did think the film should have ended with the front door closing and locking.
NO WAY!! C'mon ya gotta admit that the whole sawing and blood was a necessity.

Especially for a movie this subtle ya gotta throw in a few curve balls.

F*CK YO FRIENDLY GHOSTS!!!
Trust me if we went by that logic then for every friendly ghost in the machine we'd have 3 jackasses to compliment that.....Oh god o_O.

See? For every Megaman there's a Zero, Vile and Sigma. Face it we're screwed. And this is the face of the end of mankind.

Really liked it, but the meatbalsl scene should have been expanded imo.
What was there to explain? The mother in sarcasm told her son that if he didn't behave she'd have Blinky clean and cook HIM for dinner. Now when the malfunction started he started repeating his previous orders and hers happened to slip in there before he was restarted.

Then at the dinner table he explained it quite simply.

Mom:"Where's Alex?"
Blinky:"He's here. I clean and cooked him for dinner. Did I do good?"

See? Easy explanation......Did I do good? *Smiles creepily*

I don't know much about megaman, but that looks like a cyborg, not a robot, he has flesh and hair. Unless he's an android that has stuff that looks like flesh and hair for no apparent reason.

But I get what you're saying. For every Data there's a Lore. I don't think it's the robots we have to worry about. It's the supercomputers like, HAL, Skynet and VIKI (from I, Robot). They're usually the ones that get the ghost and start controlling the Robots.

He said that it should be expanded, not explained. I guess he thinks we should see Blinky cook the kid.

Well in Technicallity Megaman was a Robot because he had to obey the 3 laws. Zero and Megaman X are reploids but still Robots none the less. But what made Zero so dangerous was that not only did Dr. Wiley (Represented by any jackass who gets their evil hands on a robot) design him to counter Megaman X, but implanted a Virus within Zero that would spread if he was ever beaten.
Basically the main villain Sigma was actually the leader of a command force (Good guy atm) who broke Zero after finding out that Zero was on a killing rampage and ended up catching the Wiley Virus causing him to go maverick (crazy) about a few months later after Zero had been repaired and made for good.

So yeah. he's kinda like the Silver Surfer. The beacon for the end.
