I think it's more likely to be the other way around. Apple has recently applied for patients for 3D television technology, it wouldn't be a far stretch for them to buy Sony, a leader in television production, to help with this process. Just wait for a big Iphone looking TV called the iVision or some shit that will cost $5000 for a $1500 just for a slightly domed back that you never look at.

I already do.
You have my deepest condolence.

[sub]Also, keep away from me. I tend to set Apple products on fire. Spontaneously.[/sub]

Also rumored to buy Facebook and Disney. The first one who make it so you can only access FaceBook on macs. Push.

The second one makes every Disney/Pixar character for the rest of time a anthromorphic iPod. SHIT. SHIT. SHIIIIIIIIIIIT!
It kinda already happened....remember EVA in WALL-E?

Sorry but Apple while extremely large and profitable could not buy out Sony and EA in one fell swoop. They might be able to buy a large stake in Sony or EA but outright buy them? I doubt it.

I seriously cannot think of an expression that aptly expresses my terror and awe at the thought of Apple getting BIGGER. I'm struck with an image of a gigantic, smooth, white monolith on the horizon, just sitting there, menacingly. Good lord.
On the upside, maybe EA will start making good games again.
Ha...

I meant that those same people stand outside of game launches, not that I'm a Mac.

Apple buying Sony doesn't make sense. Why take on a competitor such as the PSP that's losing money? Unless you think you can somehow turn them around without at the same time eating into your own product line.

EA.. maybe. A key weakness on Apple computers has always been the strength of it's entertainment software. That said, again, why bother? The iPad's getting the market share it needs to become an attractive development platform for games. Why bother taking on EA's business model, which involves putting up millions of dollars up front on a risky game venture in hopes that it takes off and makes even more. Instead, create an App store for Macs (Oh wait.. they just did) and simply take a cut of anything that moves through there. Let EA take the risks, you just take the profit.

Now, I've heard other rumors about Netflix. That one strikes me as a decent fit. Lock it in to apple products, and with all their deals you've got massive content for your protable players while denying it to your competitors portable players (we're talking about you, Sony, Google, Nintendo).. in a business that's already showing great earnings. The only hesitation point I can see is how ridiculously high Netflix's market value is already.
you realize playstation is a VERY small arm on the sony mega-corporation right? not to mention playstation itself is making quite a bit of money off the ps3.
this is why i find it a bit hard to beleive apple is buying them out, i mean apple has money but surely it doesn't have THAT much money.

oh god i hope it doesn't have that much money...it's this sony fanboy's worst nightmare.

(EA take risks, lol. the last risk EA sports took was, let me check my watch, never)

If this happens it will be a godly combo, If apple and sony combined the products would be perfection!

However i remain highly sceptical of sony simple bending over and giving themselves to apple, likewise EA is pretty huge however they're nowhere near the level of sony. Its a funny situation tbh.

If Apple acquires Sony, it's the last time I'll ever own a Sony item. Ever. I'd go back to PC gaming solely. Apple is by far, one of the worst tech companies out there.
Obvious troll is obvious.
