Ever in Bastion when you carry Zulf's body throught the Ura soldiers while they stop fighting and just watch.

Or in mass effect 3 when Joker is trying to outflt the energy beam thing from the crucible (i know he escaped but in that second before i felt so guilty because i thought i had basically killer Joker and my crew

Some spoilerific ME3 stuff going on here, so I'm doing my best not to look at all the comments. But to continue the trend, I just got to a certain point in the game last night. The Blue Rose of Illium. I had to step away from the game for a minute.

Endings to both MGS3 and 4. Only games to ever make me cry. Otacon explaining to Sunny about Snake, Snake with the gun in his mouth. I was stunned when those voice actor credits showed up. CQC hug is the greatest moment ever.
" Let it go...my son"

Oh man, I'm with you there. I was crying like a baby during that scene. Also the song playing on the background, Father and Son, is most likely my 2nd favorite videogame track of all time, The Best is Yet to Come being the first one.

Speaking of which...

I also shed a single tear for the surveillance camera in MGS4.

Sounds so damn stupid, but remembering facing that camera so many years ago and now seeing it fall to the ground and shatter in many pieces...It hurts, man.

You know what? Lets just say the entire MGS4 is the saddest gaming moment ever, yeah? Saves us a lot of time that way :p

Oh yeah, forgot about that one. That hit especially hard since the original ME2 quest was a light-hearted comedy-thing. And then that...ouch.

Mordin, Thane and Legion, you shall be mourned.
Saying goodbye to Garrus (my love interest) I had to pause the game and wait til I stopped crying before heading into no mans land

inFAMOUS 2
Cole sacrificing himself at the end of the good ending...sad.
Cole murdering Zeke, his best friend in the evil ending...heartbreaking

Wait, when did THAT happen?! I thought I'd done every sidequest but I never found out about this.

During the Rachni mission, one of the webs on the walls hides the corpse of Charr. Find it and you can deliver his dying message (a poem) to his Asari wife (Ereba, I believe).

What with all the ME3 being brought up I'm surprised nobody has said this yet.

I love this scene.
Oh my god I could not stop crying for like a half an hour after this happened. I even reloaded a save and fought that fucking Reaper again so I could undo it.

Oh! Howdy Partners, what's going on in this thre

This part got me. He just wanted to live in peace. Used much more effectively in RDR than in L.A. Noire if you ask me.

The surge of emotion that shot through me when I saved your life taught me an even more valuable lesson - where Caroline lives in my brain...

Edit: Got the quote wrong.

In my opinion the saddest gaming moment was when Black Isle Studios closed their doors :(. So much was lost.

The end of Pheonix Wright Trials and Tribulations

Not because of the story mind you, because I thought that the story ended on a very fantastic note and wrapped up the trilogy quite well.

But because the trilogy had to end, which was very sad. It was a very good trilogy of games.

The ending to Red Dead Redemption. It was the first and so far only game to make me strait up cry. I've had games make me misty eyed and shed tears before and since then, but nothing has ever given me an emotional reaction as powerful as the ending of red Dead did. It took a while for it to really kick in; but after that lone, somber piano played as the credits rolled, I just broke down into a sniffling, tearful mess.
