Carolina couldn?t help but catch Dillon?s contagious smile, and for the first time since being here, she felt giddy.
?Sure thing. Hmm?? she said as she over emphasized thinking, her finger tapping her chin. Her eyes scanned the crowed looking for someone who seemed interesting that they could go meet, it was a party after all. Her eyes grew wider as she noticed a Lamia, obvious by the infamous tail. She had only read about them in books and was fascinated by them. She seemed to be talking to a brown haired guy, giggling a lot. Carolina wasn?t surprised though, Lamia were known for being very flirtatious.
?How about them? They look like fun,? she asked Dillon, pointing to the pair. Without waiting for a response, she pulled her shirtsleeve over her hand and lightly dragged him to the two, weaving in and out of people?s way, only dropping his hand when she reached them.
?I?m sorry, I don?t mean to pry but you?re a Lamia aren?t you?? she asked, trying her best not to gush, she just had so many questions she wanted to ask. ?Where are my manners? I?m sorry, my name is Carolina, and this is Dillon,? she said motioning to him, blushing at seeming like such a little kid. She knew curiosity killed that cat and had a feeling she was just digging her social life a grave by acting as she was.
