Rochelle's eyes flickered open a few seconds after Sven closed the door behind him. She immediately groaned softly and rolled over under the covers to lie on her stomach, relieving the pressure on her wings. The feeling of tears in her eyes was gone; maybe that had just been a simple emotional reaction in the dreams. Whether it was or not, she stayed in bed for a while longer. It was warm, comfortable... and in some way, a little stimulating.

Then she remembered the dream from the previous night in better detail, and Rochelle let out a muffled sigh into the pillows. What was she going to say when she next met Sven again? She would, of course, on account of them being roommates and all. Maybe they could both just apologise for their mistakes, and go back to being the friends they were before Rochelle messed up. That sounded like a good plan.

Catalina stepped off the blimp, refreshed after a her little nap, she looked around, taking in the sight of the school and looked around before she headed downstairs and got her rooom key, turns out, she got put in a room with a shapeshifter, who's base form was somewhat female. She walked to her room, deposited her bags and began wandering around, looking for someone she knew or at leasr someone who knew what has going on.

"hmmm you have a point there I`m no stranger to the pitchforks and torches myself" Jeffery said sighing finally stepping off of the staircase and onto the concrete a breeze of fresh air hitting him in the face causing him to let out a long sigh.

"finally off the zeppelin and back on solid ground, I never thought it would be this satisfying" Jeffery smiled as he looked around for the teacher that would have his room key, noticing that each teacher was standing by a different sign that had different ranges of letters on it, Jeffery saw the sign the corresponded to his last name and started walking over.

"see-ya later guy-who`s-name-I-don`t-know" Jeffery said walking away as he was waving goodbye behind his back to Chaz.

Jeffery walked up to the teacher standing with the table littered with the room key's of various students grabbing his from a teacher who appeared to be a regular human who looked to be in his early fifty's, when he received his, Jeffery started on the way to his room taking in the sights of the grounds around him.

"See ya, wizard," Chaz called back, forgetting Jeffery's name, as well. "Alright then..." He got into the first line, which was slightly longer then the others, but that was probably because it covered the most students. He got his key from the vampire teacher behind the desk, who was incredibly scary, and headed down the hall most of the others were going.

What rooms should the new students get?

Somewhere on floor three of the dorm. I know that 353, 357 and 358 are already taken but I don't know what Sven and Rochelle's room number is. It's 300 and something.

Just choose 3XX and you should be fine.

The trees that made up the grounds stood beautifully against the rising sun, the morning cold slowly disappearing as the sun came into view, Jeffery walked down the stone path that led from the courtyard to the dormitories a few other new students randomly spread around him, all of them going in the same direction.

Jeffery walked up to the double doors of the dormitories pushing both of them open at once creating a cold sweeping draft through the small lobby which lead to the rest of the dorms. Jeffery reached into his pocket and took out his key checking the tag that was attached to it which read that the key went with the door to room 380 which Jeffery guessed was close to the very end of the building meaning a longer walk to get outside, Jeff did`nt mind seeing as how he very rarely planned to leave his room anyways.

"now, time to locate my academic coffin" Jeffery muttered to himself as he shuffled down the hall passing by several dorm rooms some with open doors showing some students unpacking their things and others relaxing after the trip.

Jeffery found his own dorm without too much fuss opening the door to see a empty room save for a few pieces of furniture much like the one on the zeppelin except this room had two beds and two desks, but only one closet and door at the back which Jeff assumed led to a bathroom, Jeff picked the bed on the opposite side from the door and placed his suitcase under it before jumping on top of it and reading his spellbook awaiting the arrival of his roommate or some announcement about collecting class schedules, whichever came first.

The shapes of her room reformed from the vague blackness of sleep as Lillith awoke. Strangely her first feeling was not a bad one. Usually on a day she felt worse, almost sick from worrying, but she felt a little better today. Not one to worry when she was feeling better, she decided to make the most of it.

The only question was how. She sensed that Sven was a little fed up of her, Rochelle would soon follow in his steps if she had to keep hanging out with Lillith, and Nathan...? Nathan wasn't worth thinking about right now. She would deal with that problem in due time.

There are other people. Make another friend. And try to keep your secrets a little more secret this time. As long as she was able to control herself this time there were no flaws to this idea so she decided it would be best to go with her gut on this and talk to a few people. The good feeling made her more sure that she would be able to control her instincts.

She dressed, picking out a somewhat smart collared shirt and black skirt that would hopefully give her a bit of credibility after last night's mistakes, and then opened her curtains to let the sunshine in. The sight she was greeted by was not what she expected.

Out by the lake, just near where the party had taken place the night before, an apparition of immense proportions was steadily unloading students from it's innards out into the school grounds. They congregated in pulsing flocks, some breaking away and heading off in differing directions in their haste to sample the school, some more heading into the dorms to get rooms and finally a large portion still standing about in the grounds. Why they were waiting Lillith didn't know, but she thought Oneirius would soon show up to do whatever he could to make them move.

It occurred to her now that she could go downstairs and try to meet one of the new arrivals. If she couldn't find a single person in that crowd to talk to she was going to be in trouble. She slithered her way out of her door, locking her door behind her as she left, and went to go in search of people to talk to. It could be interesting to see who she might be spending her classes with for the year. If she was lucky she could meet them in good ways, rather than making a crappy first impression like she had done with the others.

I think everyone is sort of waiting for you to address the new students or something...or nobody`s posting, either one

Chaz followed the other new students into the dorm building and quickly headed up the stairs to the third floor. His key had "380" inscribed on it so he assumed that was where he was going to be staying for the school year. He had to walk down a very long hallway to get there, it was at the end, and it annoyed him, but it wasn't a big deal. Several other rooms were open and Chaz checked inside them for no reason other than he was curious. It was what he expected to be happening; people unpacking and getting to know each other. He shied past a lamia while wondered who his roommate would be. Probably someone who was on the Zeppelin, he thought.

He knocked on door 380 before turning his key and walking inside. "Aw hell," Chaz said aloud when he saw Jeffery sitting on his bed. "Of all people, why'd it have to be you?"

"I dunno maybe you just have shit-tastic luck...or maybe I do, hard to tell" Jeffery said flipping to another page in his spellbook not bothering to look up at Chaz as he walked in.

"but if your going to ***** about it, could you do it outside or something, I`m trying to read here" Jeffery said flipping to another page in his book not trying to make it look like he was looking for some non-lethal spell to perform on Chaz should the need arise.

"Whatever. I was just dropping off my bag, anyway," Chaz said throwing the item on the unoccupied bed. "...What is that book you keep reading?" he asked looking sideways at it.

"if you must know, it`s a spellbook, I don`t exactly have them all committed to memory yet so I have to keep it around, sometimes even I forget about every spell that`s in here" Jeffery replied, not lifting his eyes from the book Jeffery flicked to the next page and found a spell to make someone vomit.

"hmmmm now that could be fun, I`l keep it on reference"

I'm struggling to think thanks to Brain Atrophy. I really should have just gone for the nightmare.

Good Goddess, my brain hurts...

As she slithered here and there, Lillith made no friends. She almost ran into a Cubi as he went to get a room and she almost worked up some courage to talk to him, but she didn't. A pity...

"Lillith DeVtoe...?" An auburn haired faerie in a semi-casual green sweatshirt was reading her name from a list. Strangely she had not seen nor heard him at all before now.

"Uh, yeh. That's me."

"In that case, you have an appointment." He held the list up, tapping it with the tip of a pen. No-one else seemed to notice him either. Maybe it was some cloaking spell? "I know that lessons are cancelled, but what I'm supposed to be giving you is hardly a lesson. You need to turn up on time from now on."

She was confused. What appointment? She'd not gotten that drunk, had she?

The faerie sighed. "Counselling? You're scheduled every Wednesday morning. Sound at all familiar to you?"

Ah, this she recognised. "Oh, yeh. Sorry about... I didn't think."

"Well you know now." He stuffed the list and pen into a pocket and then retrieved a scroll. "For this first session, we're going to go to a place you choose. It's recommended that you choose somewhere you're comfortable with. And once we teleport you'll be invisible, at least to human eyes. It's got the hexes built in so that the return command will make you visible again."

"And don't try to make it somewhere too small. You'll only hurt yourself." He paused, giving Lillith a moment of thinking time, "Picked somewhere?"

She nodded.

"Fantastic. Grab a bit of the scroll, keep the place in your mind and don't let go until I tell you to. Last kid who let go managed to reappear inside a hill."

She held the scroll as tightly as she could, making extra sure not to let it escape her grasp, and then thought of the place. Hopefully it had stayed the same since she had last been there.

Sven considered what he was going to do now that Rochelle wasn't speaking with him. Not really having anywhere to go (and almost certain the other werewolves were sleeping in) he wandered around the school until he came across a sign which read, You are now entering the library area. For your safety and that of the students around you, please remain silent. The werewolf got a little chuckle out of the sign, but had every intention to follow it. Sven always disliked the extreme quiet present in libraries; something about it just made them seem more sterile than they already were. However, Sven figured he might as well at least take a look around; this was a trip he?d wanted to make since he got here, and now was as good a time as any. Sven opened the large wooden door and stepped inside.

Sven wasn?t even half-way through the door when his jaw started dropping. This library seemed as limitless as Oneirius?s office, and other than a few tables and computers and a check-out desk manned by a bored-looking orc in the area by the door, every square inch of available room had a shelf filled with books. OK, there must be some pretty powerful magic involved here, because there is no way this room would fit in this building, Sven thought to himself, letting his eyes and feet wander in search of something he could recognize as legible.

Eventually, Rochelle decided that she had to get up sometime, and did so with a wide yawn and a stretch or two. There had been no word on the matter of classes starting any time soon, so she changed into an ice-blue shirt, jeans and running shoes. Her small satchel over one shoulder, Rochelle headed out to explore the school. Maybe there was an athletics track outside, near a gym or something. She hoped that was the case; she excelled in sprint races. She decided to stretch her wings and go for a short flight over the grounds if she didn't find one.

Rochelle found an open-air balcony down the hall, extended her wings and jumped off, diving briefly before climbing higher and landing on the roof of another building as a result of her gain in momentum. She quickly made her way to the high point of the slanted roof, and began to look over the area below.

The Library is managed by The Worm. Most who here of him think he is some sort of bookworm, but that's just a common mistake. He is a dragon, and a couple hundred years ago he has decided to trade his hoard of gold and jewels for a treasury of books. He is very protective of his hoard, of course. He also sleeps a lot, and he has a tendency to burn those who interrupt his slumber.

"You're trying to commit an entire book to memory?" Chaz asked, astounded. "Well good luck with that. Frankly, I don't think you can. At least I wouldn't be able to." He finally noticed that he was subconsciously keeping his wings nonexistent and brought them back out of his body. I got to un-learn to do that, he thought.

"yeah I have the first maybe, ten pages so far, but it`s mostly useless utility stuff, fixing small things, basic cleaning spells....and a spell that allows me to shoot confetti from my hands, which has come in handy more times than I expected" Jeffery said focusing intently on each word in the book now suddenly conscious of the fact he was trying to memorize it he tried a few more times to get into it before finally giving up and slipping the spellbook back into the left breast pocket of his suit jacket.

"....dammit, I`m gonna go find something to do, if I don`t come back in two days, it means I`ve either left school or I`m dead" Jeffery said grabbing his iPod out of his pocket and walking outside into the hallway and out into the front of the dormitories, looking from left to right for something interesting, seeing nothing attention grabbing Jeff started walking towards the main buildings of the school in search of something amusing.
