How about bottom *winks*
If there was that level of interaction with the characters then... well nevermind it might as well be an interactive porno >.<
Unless you made some kind of decisions in the game that made you seem more dominant or whatever.
Yeah right >.>

It's not. There's been female-female homosexual relationships, but not male-male.
Yes, though technically no because Asari are mono-gendered. (it would make BroShep's relationship with Liara a bit gay/bi as well ;))
Good point. I don't get why there couldn't have been a lesbian option with Miranda and/or Jack..
well couldn't your female shep have a romance with the cerberus woman...not Miranda but the other one I can' think of her name...Kelly maybe?

Mono meaning singular
Gender referring to the Sexual Organs of a given individual
All Asari have the same Sexual Organs, their race is monogendered.
They may all resemble woman, and they all may refer to themselves as woman but that doesn't change the fact that they as a species are all the same gender. Making your point invalid.
Seriously, if you have to go to such lengths to convince yourself that you're not acting out a lesbian relationship...
I never said it wasn't Lesbian. I just said that saying they aren't monogendered isn't true, since they clearly are. You said there isn't nothing monogendered about Asari, which is very much false.
Oh, you mean you were just trolling. Sorry, I mistook you for someone making a point.
How is that trolling? Because I proved you wrong? You presented an argument. I presented a counter-argument with facts. I thought I was nice about the whole thing also. If this is trolling I still have much to learn about the Interwebs.
Did you actually read my post? I "presented an argument" (your words) that the relationship was a lesbian one. You "presented a counter-argument" which, by your own admission, had nothing to do with whether the relationship was lesbian. And now you claim that this "proves me wrong" in my original assertion that the relationship is lesbian? Maybe you should work out what it is you're trying to say/prove, assuming you're trying to say something and not just being argumentative (trolling).

I've never played the ME games (well i'm at the start of the first one) but I always thought it was always a part of it when I saw this video a while back http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrMMOteSqOE
That was a hack.

I just hope they remove the "any potential love interest will start hitting on if you talk to them enough no matter what you do short of being a total asshole." Seriously, I thought I was clear to Jack I was not interested and yet she still later told me I had no chance with her unless I broke it off with Tali. I also hope some characters cannot be same sex romanced and some cannot be opposite sex romanced. Not everyone is Bi after all, except for Asari of course.
Yeah no kidding. I felt like I was navigating a mine field every time I started to talk to Jacob. I start talking to him and suddenly I have 3 conversation choices and all of them point to me hitting on him... I'm just like... uh what?!

And I would imagine that some characters would be very firm in their sexuality. I would think Garrus would be a Women only and Jack a Guy only, especially since Jack specifically states in ME2 that she has no interest in getting it on with a girl.
Actually, she says the exact opposite. During her stories, she shares two or three accounts of girl love.
Really? I guess I wasn't paying attention. I just know she shoots you down and says she isn't interested.
Well, I'm only halfway through my playthrough of a FemShep, so I haven't gotten much time with her, but I know from my experiences as a dude she says a couple of times that she's had sex with women.

Did you read your own post? you specifically said in there that there was nothing about the Asari that made them monogendered. Guess what basic logic would say otherwise which I pointed out to you. And even if all I'm trying to say is that you are wrong about the monogendered you are using it as a basis for your other argument, if I disprove your base argument I disprove it as a whole, meaning that you need to find new ground to stand on. In the end you may be right about it being a lesbian relation but you have to use the correct logic and facts to get to that decision. If someone proves you wrong then find another route to prove your argument valid, don't go saying someone is a troll just because you don't wish to use basic logic in your statements.

So was this their way of opening up the ME universe to a bigger audience? If it isn't broke don't fix it.I see no reason to add this in a already established game. They sure are pulling out all the stops to be PC.

I do recall one time I was playing ME when I, a male Shepard started hitting on Keiden. He shut me down quick.I recall thinking well that what kinda neat.Just like Ashley wasn't into a threesome with Learia. These are character trites that round out the characters. So now Ashley will be open to a female Shapard? Keiden will now be ready to take it up the chocolate wizway? Why to retcon homosexuality into characters story lines.

Well as long as they don't treat me like a asshole for turning them down I don't care.I'll be putting it into Ashely.Been saving myself since mass effect 1 for her!

Ah, I think I see now. In that case, my bad and well done.

Lovely news. Thanks for sharing.
Personally, I do hope it's new characters (also has fingers crossed for actually gay characters a la New Vegas). I love the old characters, but if they wanted to sleep with my Shep, they probably would have said so already and not randomly turn to me years after meeting me and go "Yeah. I can try that now." xD
And I don't want the messing with personalities that are already quite well done.
I second this, but given the amount of people begging for male/male romances with Garrus I suspect Bioware will cave in and give those fans what they want.

I see Garrus as more of a "bro" than a "bromance" so I just hope they handle things in such a way that both sides can be happy.

Well that's good news, though I'm pretty sure I'll just stick with Liara, for both of my characters.

Same reason I was annoyed when Anders suddenly became gay.
I was disappointed he wasn't bi in the first place! I had always assumed he was, he had the perfect personality for it. Hell, he never denied it so maybe he was?

That said, Bioware did completely fuck up my adorable, funny, happy-go-lucky Anders for DA2 anyway, why not change his sexuality too? -.-

Ah, Kelly <3 I loved that she was romancible, so many cheesy chat-up lines to be found in dialogues with her.

We'll have to wait and see. To be honest, the Garrus / femShep romance was totally awkward to me, like teens trying to get it on for the first time. Did you imagine it would be like that? I can easily picture broShep with Kaidan, but if that becomes an option, it might turn out way different. And I love BioWare for what they have done so far, the diversity in connections and conversations. I trust them completely that they can do even better with more options and complexity.

Sorry Bioware you can't win this one, Behold!

> Only hetero relationships - People Baww (why can't I gay it up?)

> Everybody is bisexual, both homo and hetero relationships possible - People Baww (Thats just not likely!)

> Only some characters are homosexual and, to be in line with likelihood, this means only 1 or two romancable characters will be gay - People will BAWWWWW (What?! My fem shep can't get it on with Tali? What?! My male shep can't hump Garrus? What?! My only available option is Jack for lesbian or Jacob for gay?)

No matter what Bioware do, people will whine. For either being too liberal, not liberal enough, or not managing some impossible middle ground where everyone gets the relationship options they want without making them all bisexual.

The solution? Make everyone find Shepard ugly as fuck.
A simple fix.At the character creation screen have a sexual preference option.Let people choose how they want to role and any of the other options just wont show up in dialog.

It only took us 3 games to get there, but I'm happy to see this included this time around. ME3's been making me a bit nervous recently with some of the announcements about it. It's nice to get some good news for a change.

Poor Kaiden...
I guess all the Dragon Age gayness rubbed off on ME.

Not that there's anything wrong with that... But come on...
