I don't know if I ever truly believed in Santa... Perhaps awhile but no one ever tried to hide the fact that he was fake so it didn't take that long :/

I always knew, it seemed a little too far fetched for me to take seriously.

My mum still pretends he exists even though I'm 18, I have to keep up a charade that I still believe that he exists, bizarrely. Also y'know he wears red because of coca cola, who branded him that way.
Yup, the original colour of Santa was green ... some also believe it was brown =/

My mother use to the hooves from my dad's hunting trips to make reindeer tracks and sled marks. So I believed until I found a trunk full of presents marked "from Santa" a month before xmas.
Aww come one, Santa cant really deliever all the presents in one night, so he had to drop them off a month early to some houses. He did that with my mum also.

Stop BELIEVING! Stop believing! Why won't you stop believing!?... Why won't you stop believing?

Santa: Beneath these rosy cheeks there is more than flesh. Beneath these rosy cheeks there is an idea, Mr. Grumpy, and ideas are bulletproof.

I would make this reply about how Santa does exist in the hearts and spirits of people all around the world and that the magic of the persona is a source of hope and love for many. But this cliff-notes version will do ^^

I don't think I ever really did believe in him, but I stood in denial and defiantly claimed that he existed.

The second my parent's told me about santa, I replied with:

"Your lying, that's impossible!"

I was 4.

They basically shrugged and said whatever.

I never really believed it.
My parents didn't try to keep up the act either.
They were happy to stop pretending once I told,
"Yes, well, this 'Santa' guy,.. he sure writes like Mom."

Santa does not, indeed, exist. I wonder he's even mentioned nowadays. And he definitely doesn't burgle houses or eat children. Nope. No way.

(Muahahaha, I have them ALL fooled.

Wait, did I just say that out loud?)

I kind of figured it out when I was about 7 after I thought about the term 'Christmas Shopping' me mom said to me that you buy the expensive presents and give them to Santa and he gives them to you. Me parents never really said to me directly that Santa isn't real.

Same. Never believed in Santa.
Knew all the stories, never thought he was real.
My parents worked hard all year to afford those presents, they made sure we knew who they were from!

T_______________T

PREDICTABLE JOKE OUT OF THE WAY let's do this thread again why not.

'Bout four, I'd say. Went to some kid's house and he and his mother decided to fill me in.
Bitchy move on his mother's part, really. But whatever. Saved us a shitload of cash (which we really did need).
