Still, she has a masters degree in Political Science. I can't blame her being a politician dealing with many issues at once, to confuse South and North Korea.
I don't see how you can make up an justified excuse for this. Sure we are all humans but someone who is running/plans to become president of a country born on Capitalism should at least know where their friggin' Communism counterparts are.

Seriously, it seems geography classes in USA suck, generalization and assumption of course. ;)
Off track but, Yeah they do.I know cause I'm there. It's like a recent test showing that atheists know more about religion than religious folk.

She is is a decisive figure in american politics, you ether love her (teebagger) or hate her democrats, old guard Republicans and swing voters. my hope is that she does become the republican nomination for president, alienating the voters I mentioned before into voting for someone else.

Please become the Republican Nominee in the 2012 election. I want to have you taken down a few more pegs when Obama beats you. Newsflash if people didn't want you as Vice president they sure as hell will not want you as president.

According to Wikipedia:

Palin attended Hawaii Pacific University in the fall of 1982 and North Idaho College in the spring and fall of 1983.[36] In June 2008, the Alumni Association of North Idaho College gave her its Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award.[37] She attended the University of Idaho in the fall of 1984 and spring of 1985, and attended Matanuska-Susitna College in the fall of 1985. Palin returned to the University of Idaho in the spring of 1986, receiving her bachelor's degree in communications with an emphasis in journalism in 1987.

She doesn't have a degree in PoliSci, much less a masters.

As far as mistaking North and South Korea, this is very similar to 'refudiate'. She could've squashed it easily by simply acknowledging that she made an error. In fact, after she was critizied over 'refudiate' she could've acknowledged that she made a mistake while insulting her critics and I wouldn't have thought less of her. But Caribou Barbie is never, ever wrong. That's why, instead of saying 'wow, you caught someone misspelling a word on the internet, great job detective!' she proceeded to compare herself to Shakespeare.

During that interview, she could've easily said 'I said North? I meant South' and that would've been that. But no, she dives headfirst into her error as though it wasn't one and you're a dope for thinking that it was.

A lot of people love Sarah Palin because she drives liberals crazy. The reason she drives us crazy is because you will never, ever get an honest, thoughtful, intelligent debate out of her. That's why people like Mike Huckabee, Ron Paul, and Condoleeza Rice DON'T drive us crazy. This is also why she's never on a panel or debates with anything that's even remotely liberalish on Fox.

Ugh, i'm gonna be trolled so much for this but, she DID run a country for almost a full term, she would've stayed but she had plans of running for president and the mocking was getting to her. Alaska didn't necesarilly do any better then anyone else in this recession but they are actually doing really goood out of the other states, definitely not as bad as California. She doesn't speak well is all, and after the mistakes of Bush and him not talking well people now associate bad speakers with bush, she just doesn't like public speaking, that's also the reason behind Meg Whitmans loss, (along with the majority of democrats in California). So we shouldn't be blaming her... as much... maybe some... just not as much.

I remember when Barack forgot how many states there were and said southerners cling to their guns and religion.

Which people? Isn't her approval rating like 19% among CONSERVATIVES?
I remember reading an article about this.
about 25% nationwide, around 50% conservatives and 75% tea party
Well most of the Tea Party did graduate from Short Bus Elementary.

OT:

Meh. It's Sarah Palin. Did you expect anything else?

Thou its kinda weird how much money she has, power, and fame and yet people still talk down to her, just cause shes a Republican, seriously any other party people would be praising her.
im ashamed to call myself a republican because of sarah palin
really? thats the reason your ashamed to call yourself one? its none of the other things?
theres a whole list of reasons shes just the one on top right now
but heres a few
Glen beck
Bil o'riley
fox news
fox and friends
our general extreme right wing agenda
o the public image of us as weapon toting maniacs (actually that one does apply to me i have a pair of twin hook swords hung on the wall above my tv and several knives)

I'm not sure why it makes me so sad when I hear something like this. I shouldn't even be surprised anymore. Sure, everyone makes mistakes, says things they regret and otherwise simply goof up from time to time. I can forgive that. We are, after all, only human.

But I feel like every single time she opens her mouth, it's something like this. If she was just some media shock-jockey like Beck or Limbaugh I'd shrug it off and go on my merry way. But to think that she could have been the vice President of our country? That she's considering making a 2012 bid for the Presidency?

That scares me.

No... Taking your underwear in the night while you sleep in your room is stalking.

*"discreetly(I can't spell that, honestly)" moves your underwear away with my foot*

You take Canada, I'll take England. Or Japan, if I have a friend willing to move with me and that actually wants to learn the language.

I don't know what else there could possibly be to discuss in this thread...

She's a moron. Period. End of story. I don't care about her politics or her image. I refuse to vote for someone who is a moron. She's uneducated. I mean, sure, she has a degree in communications and journalism, but they practically give those fucking things away.

Dubya was an idiot, too, but at least he was mildly humorous and sort of endearing. Not that I voted for him or anything, but at least it was almost comical to watch his blunders. With Palin, it's just sad...

Do we even need proof of her stupidity anymore? It's firmly established. The less attention we give this woman, the faster she goes away.
