Its a simple mistake honestly, though she picked the worst possible time to make that mistake. That doesn't take away from the fact that she has got to be the stupidest politician this side of the Atlantic.

I don't know why but that sounds a bit dirty to me...

OT: You are fucking kidding me? I've never seen a politician in the UK cock up that much. I don't know about USA politics but that's pretty fucking stupid

Still, she has a masters degree in Political Science. I can't blame her being a politician dealing with many issues at once, to confuse South and North Korea. Thou its kinda weird how much money she has, power, and fame and yet people still talk down to her, just cause shes a Republican, seriously any other party people would be praising her.
Oh its not cause she's Republican. Its cause she's dumb as shit, incapable of leading anything more then a duck to water, and because she's a comodity. And a hypocrit.

OT: I dontknow. I never thought she could talk right anyway, so i never paid attention to her. She wont be president. I think i can honestly say that with sure-ity and confidence. this is pretty much to me as the whole, "i'll be great at foreign affairs, I can see Russia from my Backyard dontcha know hehehe." its just her saying something stupid and show casing why anyone with three brain cells to rub together would be retarded to vote for her.

facepalm
If Palin becomes president in 2012, I don't know what to do

thank god the worlds ending that year, we won't have to deal with her.....wait....what if she gets elected.....OH MY GOD SHE IS THE END OF THE WORLD.
Incidentally

OT: While on one hand its just a spelling error, on the other its about North Korea being our allies, and then failing to correct herself without the damage already being done.

This is pretty bad, but nowhere near as bad as some of the other things she's said.

Even though this post will probably not be seen, but if you were paying attention to what she was saying earlier it was obviously just a slip of the tongue, something that all politicians make.

Now if you all will excuse me I have a blimp to catch (hint it says Revolution on the side with a backwards E)

Seriously, it seems geography classes in USA suck, generalization and assumption of course. ;)
Tell me about it.

I grew up in a school that had about 13 kids in my grade (and two of them were me and my twin brother) Right before high school my family moved to a big city. Where I was than part of a class with 500 students. I was shocked when I was in a classroom of 30 kids; The teacher said Label all the oceans and continents. Me and one other student (my twin brother :p) were the only ones able to label all 7 continents and 4 oceans (yes I'm aware there are now, technically 5 oceans but this was 15 years ago) Most had far too many since he didn't say how many continents there are.
Pardon me good sir, but in what state exactly do you go to school in, because im a student in Oklahoma and would get slapped across the face for failing this in 8th grade.

Perhaps kids are actually smarter now? Perish the thought.

I'm an Independent, and I don't talk down to her because she's a Republican. I talk down to her because she's a damn idiot.

Well, at least she can see Russia from her house.

Too obvious? Probably. But that's the only thing I can say about it.

Really, yes, it's probably a slip, but, given the track record, anything is possible.

I really wish people would ignore her. There's nothing else to say anymore. I'm tired of hearing about her. Also, that show of hers needs to die too.

Smart people don't tend to be popular. More people are familiar with Snooky than Spock for example (in general I mean. Ask a thousand people who Spock is and you'll likely get more 'vulcan' than 'half-human-vulcan'. Ask who Snooky is and you'll almost always get 'stupid, drunken, whore').
Who's Snooky?

Also, I can understand how she would make that mistake if she doesn't ever think about North or South Korea.

It's not a mistake I personally would ever make but, hey. I think that there genuinely could be worse people running for presidential election.

Plus from what I can gather there's only like 50 people who vote anyway.

^ This.

Seriously, if you look at the context, she said "North Korea" about 6 times leading up to attempting to say, "We support South Korea". Its a word jumble. You ever give a presentation where you jumble up a few words because you're thinking of what to say next? It happens to anyone.

I really hope you're taking the piss here.

If not, can you seriously name a contemporary member of another party who is even remotely comparable?
Joe Biden.

So, even after being corrected it was only "also with our South Korean allies". She still thought that North Korea was an ally of the US? I suppose this can be filed with the Africa is a country thing.
If she gets nominated and if then elected I don't think that the US will have allies for very long.
However I would like to see one so blatantly ignorant get nominated by the republicans. Democrats would surely win the election.
*edit* political science!? her? we need people who know a useful science and politics not theories about politics.

I think I've seen that movie.

And what more is there to say about Palin? She's essentially the continuation of George W in female form.

Ok, lets be honest, is anyone here actually surprised? Her and Justin Beiber prove that survival of the fittest is as big of a joke as america, home of the free.

Did it ever come to mind that maybe she's just horrifically terrible at public speaking? I mean the media made George Bush Jr. to be a blittering idiot and then we found out he had a stroke around 2005 which hinderded his speaking quite a bit. I dont know what Sarah's problem is (And frankly I never did like her) but I think we should just know all the facts before making fun of someone.

im ashamed to call myself a republican because of sarah palin
really? thats the reason your ashamed to call yourself one? its none of the other things?
theres a whole list of reasons shes just the one on top right now
but heres a few
Glen beck
Bil o'riley
fox news
fox and friends
our general extreme right wing agenda
o the public image of us as weapon toting maniacs (actually that one does apply to me i have a pair of twin hook swords hung on the wall above my tv and several knives)
but yeah shes the current number one
you forgot massive hypocrisy, Im of course referring to them being all anti gay and then being caught with rent boys or trying to pick up men in airport bathrooms, among other things
