I remember reading an article about this.
about 25% nationwide, around 50% conservatives and 75% tea party

Hmm, Palin becoming president of the USA...

I've been hearing a lot of good things about Canada lately.

I dislike her too, and I'm Canadian, so if she is president that has major effects here.

But she has huge popularity. If she gets nominated, she'll get ravenous supporters.
If she loses, worst case scenario is she becomes the nominee for 2016.

And then... I don't know.... She's a full time FOX reporter?
Oh I love our right to free speech, but in all honesty its destroying my nation. I think the First amendment, which I full heartedly support. Works best when you can expect people are mature enough not to make biased opinions on fear and ignorance, but Ratings are Ratings so I doubt Fox will ever stop doing what they do best.
Personally, I think that Republicans are split. You got the coherent Rightists, and then you have the Tea Party. The ones who think they're like the founding fathers, with Semi Automatic Rifles. And that everything they do is right with god.

They take things too seriously, and blame everything on everyone but them.

Worst case scenario is that they all get the sense that they can overthrow Obama.

2nd Civil War anyone?

The Tea party should found a nation based on there beliefs somewhere on the bible belt. With no Taxes that means they will have no standing army. we will wait until there roads diminished and crime is at a all time high "With no police and such" and then take them over with ease after they learned they're lesson.

Gaffs for politicians aren't all that big a deal. Obama did say he had visited all 57 states of the USA. Still, Palin makes them more often and displaying more stupidity. When she was first interviewed for her role as McCain's running mate she didn't know:
- Who was behind the 9/11 attacks, (repeatedly suggesting that it was Saddam Hussain.)
- Didn't know who or what America was fighting in Iraq, (a war her son was fighting in.)
- Couldn't explain why North and South Korea were different nations.
- Referred many times to Africa as a country rather than a continent.

Then she says in an interview that if she ran for president today she believes she could beat Obama. Fuckin' Hell we're doomed.

Thankfully the Republicans shouldn't back her as their candidate. Not unless her reality series is really popular or something.

She didn't actually think north korea was an ally

She's bad with words and made an error I'll give her a complete pass.

This isn't the same as some how finding "Death-panels" in a health care bill or supporting a hypocrite know-nothing like Miller. Or even quitting during her time in office to go on a book tour and start a reality tv show.

Serious with all the stupid stupid stupid things she's done, there is no reason to jump on her for a little fumble like this when it's one of the things she actually does know.

edit: guy right above me totally beat me to my point^^^^^^^^^^^^

They'll last until the taxes go past 0.5%. Then Rebellion, through a group called the Founders.

The battles in Chyenne, Lincoln and Juneau raged for months. And the Founders won. But then a JEWISH COUPLE APPEARED NEAR THE BORDER! THEY TOOK THEM AS PRISONER THINK THEM AS SOCIALIST AMERICAN SPIES! THE UN CALLS SANCTIONS! PANIC EVERYWHERE! AMERICA WINS THE WAR IN 1 WEEK!

Little extreme. But then again extreme has no limits with the Tea Party.

Im moving out of this country to Sweden, Denmark, Holland, or New Zealand as soon as I can. America is exactly like how Yahtzee described it, and im seriously worried that the current state of this country is only the start, and things will continue to go rapidly downhill after Obama leaves. Hes spineless and hasnt done A THING, but at least hes kinda pulled things to a standstill, not going up or down. America is going to blow itself up, and no matter what we do, all the patriotic bullshit spuwed out by people here will make ourselves feel justified in it

Still, she has a masters degree in Political Science. I can't blame her being a politician dealing with many issues at once, to confuse South and North Korea. Thou its kinda weird how much money she has, power, and fame and yet people still talk down to her, just cause shes a Republican, seriously any other party people would be praising her.
Um, really? The Republican party has pretty much been bowing down to her as the queen of conservativism for the past 2 1/2 years. Anyone else with this tenuous a grasp on the English language would be ripped apart from day one until they were a tiny little piece of fabric. People claimed that the media hated conservative women, though, and people have been handling her with kid gloves ever since. She is, in a word, a joke. Every time she opens her mouth, she embarasses any American with an education.

She confused the two mid-sentence. She had started talking about protecting South Korea, and then accidentally said that they needed to support North Korea.

I hate her too, but I'll make fun of her for the stuff that she intentionally does that proves her to be an idiot:
