Well I won't believe this without links to reliable sources, but how exactly do you make a movie out of a boardgame? Boardgames just don't seem like something that would translate very well to movies.
you.. you never played candy landChipperz said:Just IMDB'ed all three of these (What the hell is Candyland anyway? I'm guessing it's another board game?). Nothing.
Zilch.
Nada.
This is gonna require sources. How the hell are they going to make a film based on Monopoly, anyway? Christian Bale and Dwane Johnson battle it out for Mayfair while Karl Urban gets Old Kent Road and a bunch of pinks and wins because he's got half the board?
i understand you want reliable sources and all but how would this get to somewhere reliable?Drake the Dragonheart said:Well I won't believe this without links to reliable sources, but how exactly do you make a movie out of a boardgame? if your being tricked here than so am IStoic Person Eater said:I can't wait for the Scrabble Movie and movie based videogame.
Also, lack of a reputable source means you're probably lying.
Especially if they got the old Disney-style artists to make it. Something tells me this may be a "kids and stoners" movie in the making.rubyblue said:candyland would make a terrific movie.
Oh, I see what you did there! Well played!Evil Jak said:They should go to jail for this... directly, to jail. DO NOT pass go, DO NOT collect £200. Hahaha, and its relevant.
I found that funny, but I took your meaning of "sink their bettleships" as making them imputent... Its bloody hilarious. XDShapsters said:Oh, I see what you did there! Perhaps as punishment they should sink their battleships...

true it might not get released but the fact that they spent money to secure the rights means there going to atleast try to make a movie right?Izzil said:Would it help to point out that just because they bought the rights doesn't necessarily mean a movie's absolutely going to be made? There's the logistics of it getting through developement hell before the filming would even begin.
That being said, they might not be so bad. Clue was much more a movie than I had ever expected it to be when I first saw it. It was full of campy fun.![]()
