I would rather have Bear Grylls than any character for the simple fact that he simply walks into Mordor.

I definitely don't want to live in a post-apocalptic wasteland. I think people cherish life too readily. It is as much a curse as a gift.

The vault-dweller. No not him... the ORIGINAL vault dweller.
How about all the main characters from the Fallout series?
We WILL survive.

I would've honestly said Bill from L4D, seeing as he was pretty survivability sound in that game, and I'm sure that would carry over from zombies to Post-Apocalyptia. But... I can't. For reasons that Valve decided were necessary.

So, I'd have to go with my character from Fallout 3, simply because I used the phrase, "Post-Apocalyptia."

EDIT: Actually, never mind. I just read the post that said Bear Grylls, and I agree for the same reason.

Not too sure about characters from games that would be helpful but Ray Mears would be a safe bet.
Screw Ray Mears, I would rather have Bear Grylls. He would be able to make it look like we were surviving in the wilderness when actually he has found us a nice 5 star hotel to stay in, with en-suite bath rooms and room service provided by some underpaid (but extremely courteous) mutants.

On topic: It would have to be Captain Price.

Three Dog most definitely. I would carry him on my back and would listen to his rendition of 'I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire' and hearing his commentary on my action s throughout the new wasteland. He'd give me the truth, no matter how baaaaaaaaad it hurts
Totally what I was gonna say.

If not him than Moira.

the vault dweller obviously. Mr. 101
Don't you people know your Fallout titles??? There was only ever ONE Vault Dweller and that was the protagonist from the first Fallout, local resident of Vault 13 or rather former resident. The Protagonist of Fallout 3, or Mr. 101 as Burningsok called him, was known as "The Lone Wanderer". *grunt*

Because I could then punch him

Why in god's name would you WANT to be right about that? It's horrible and dosen't benifit you!

you are correct, but he was called many things. 3dog called him the vault dweller a couple of times, hell I think 3dog even used both vault dweller and lone wanderer in the same sentence to describe 'Mr. 101' lol

Samus Aran. She can blast the crap out of any possible mutants, monsters or anything that might show up, and she can take me around the world to look for more survivors in her ship.
And if there are none, all the better, to hell with this boring world, I'm off to space suckas!
