Yes. It didn't help that Silent Hill 2 had some of the (while very creepy looking) biggest pushovers for enemies (not counting Pyramidhead).

And remember the otherworld-hospital in SH3? I swear to god, it gave me anxiety attacks.

Fallout 3. It made bioshock like a walk in the park (except for Houdini splicers, I can never get over how they teleport via a bloody explosion), the second scariest game I played. I really don't play games that are that scary.

Yup, I even stopped playing the game when I got to the otherworld Brookhaven Hospital
It took me a couple of days to gather the courage to go back!

The only reason condemned was scary for me was the atmosphere. It was always dark and creepy and gave you the sense that you were being followed.
