Are you just replying to make everyone feel worse, because you are making yourself hopeless. There is always a way to fix things, and every bit of advice everyone has given you, you have chucked out the window. You are trying to make your own life worse it seems.

Grow up and realise that the world does not, in fact, revolve around you, learn that other people have problems too. Learn how to fix those problems so you don't immediately come across as an anti-social jerk. Now if a couple of Random useless people off the internet can give you that much wisdom, just think of how wise you can be if you tone down the angst a little and be more positive, or at least accepting.
There is no wisdom amongst these fools.

So very, very true. I got slammed HARD first year of uni, I just wasn't ready for it because I'd never actually had to work for anything before, high school was a breeze, I got my TER and started my bachelor of science without much effort at all. I'm paying for it now though, should be finished in 2 months time, instead I've got an extra year to go.
Same here man, should be finishing my Mech. Eng. this year but instead I have another year to go. Awesome.
Stupid hindsight.

Again you are only grasping at the surface of my post. And I believe I have said I don't want your sympathy. And I don't care if you think I'm a nice guy or a jerk, and if you do not like my post then by all means you are allowed to leave. Their is no one keeping you here but yourself.
Sorry, you're full of shit.

Other than asking a question of "Do you think school is a waste of time", you've only replied to people in an abrasive way.

I'm contributing yet another vote for you are not a beautiful little snowflake.

You are not a beautiful and unique snowflake. You are the same decaying organic matter as everyone else, and we are all part of the same compost pile. ~Chuck Palahniuk, Fight Club, Chapter 17

Or to even further this

Why?" Why did I cause so much pain? Didn't I realize that each of us is a sacred, unique snowflake of special unique specialness? Can't I see how we're all manifestations of love? I look at God behind his desk, taking notes on a pad, but God's got this all wrong. We are not special. We are not crap or trash, either. We just are. We just are, and what happens just happens. ~Chuck Palahniuk, Fight Club, Chapter 30

OP: i suggest you read Fight Club. Though you may be a bit young for it...
I think it might appeal to you.

It's only my second year and I'm already feeling like ditching this hole.
I'm legitimately curious, what do you see yourself doing one year after that?

I was merely adding quotes to what Banworthy had originally written, but if you intend to read into it so smugly, be my guest.

OP is a douche. You'd be better off posting this stuff on 4chan, to be honest.

After...after dropping out of school? You plan on staying in school after dropping out of school.

Are you being sarcastic, implying you've had a change of heart, or misunderstanding my question?

I figure i better tell you before he rages at you with his typical "YOU SHOULDA READ ALL THE POSTS HURURRRRR" comment...

He says "thinking about dropping out" is different to actually dropping out...

You're right. The fact that we still bother, the fact that I still care. No wisdom left, so you certainly aren't going to get any in our company either.

Arrogance: I've seen more of it today than ever before. If you were half as smart as you claimed to be, you would have convinced us of your point ages ago.
If you want to fit in here, I suggest you stop this thread and make a decent contribution.

Rage? I am quite calm. I am curious to how you got the idea that I raged even once in this thread.

I think you are arrogant and don't know the benefit of a proper education. If you feel the need to refer to others as "losers", then you are clearly too immature to head out into the world on your own. It will eat you alive.
I try to make an effort to avoid quoting people, because it generally doesn't add much to the conversation... but this. Several times over.

I can understand the feeling that some people aren't worth the time or effort, but I believe all people deserve respect and consideration, until they've shown otherwise. I highly doubt that you've encountered everyone in your school, and they're all dicks.

If the school work is too easy for you, talk to your teachers. That's what they're there for. I'm sure it's possible to get some higher level material. And if that's still too easy for you, lucky kid. Now you can focus on your social skills without stressing over weekly exams and expectations!

Who wants to take a bet? I have $5 that a certain someone will get banned.

But seriously, deal with it. Life isn't all rainbows and watermelon. You have to work hard to get somewhere.
Also there's a flaw in your argument. Teachers TEACH, thats why they don't leave you alone.

Satire - literary technique that attacks foolishness by making fun of it.
