But why dress in purple?!
I always thought he was made purple in order to complete the Mortal Kombat Ninja Rainbow.
For the pollitical correctness? Make a homosexual flag out of the MK ninjas.
I think I just found my next Photoshop project... Which of course would need the 'Friendship' rainbow over them all.
Oh god yes! If you could make a MK rambow flag, you have to post it here. That would be tops.

Nyshano is relatively new. Up until about a year ago, I was whiterider, and still am in some places. I thought up this name when I was twelve, because I had a thing (no, not that kind of thing) for horses. When, four years later, someone showed me the urban dictionary definition of a whiterider, I decided I didn't like it so much any more (this also helped by the fact that there are a zillion other whiteriders out there).

Nyshano was born out of my Saga of Ryzom char - Nysha. It means something in some language, but I've forgotten what and which. A couple of guildies made detailed plans of a flash game they were going to make, entitled "Nyshano Chichi Kyokudo". This is the free online translator mangling of the japanese for "Nysha Boobies Extreme". And Nyshano is so much catchier than Nysha - although I am aware it makes me sound somewhat like a pre-pubescent manga geek.

As for the avatar, it's by Stephanie Shimerdla [http://www.obsidiandawn.com/pages/oblivion.htm], who is a goddess, and I just adore the picture.

My name is Zera, because I think it is a cool name and I will use it in my games later.

As for my avatars I change them every once in a while. My latest on is a "harem" of rather effeminate pokemon lead by my favorite pokemon, Gardevoir. No I dont have any attraction to them, but I love the reactions I get from some people. As for future avatars, prepare to see a couple of more Gardevoir pics in the future.

Ah, I always wondered who John Galt was. Atlas Shrugged was the bases for Bioshock wasn't it?
More or less. I guess you could think of Tenebaum as Dagny Taggart and Rapture as Galt's Atlantis.

Anyone who has played Killzone will recognize the Hellgahst's leader. As for the avatar I change it quite often and it usually ends up being some sort of spec-ops guy. Points to John Galt for an Atlas Shrugged reference (I read it in high school).

Some pretty interesting stories behind some of the names in this topic.

My name is just kind of a random one I made up when I registered here. Nothing very special or any significance behind it, but it has a nice ring to it to me.

My avatar is the insignia of Kiith Manaan from Homeworld. It's my favorite Kiith (basically clans/extended family organizations in the game universe)the Manaan are kind of the wandering gypsy types, which suits my personality largely. I just took the insignia off a site, it didn't look too great in just black, or gray against the background here, so added a color gradient and ran with it.

Nothing all that original or unique.

Both name and avatar are a homage to the hordes of mechanical copies of Ogmo, the "retarded monster" which stars in YoMamasMama's Jumper series. It took me ages to get the 80/100 gems required to unlock the Ogmobot skin. Now I have 96/100. I like platform games.

EDIT: Now I have NINETY-EIGHT out of one hundred :)

Well, the only proper way to say it is, "QFG FTW," but that seems somehow... inappropriate. Erana is a fictional historic figure in the Quest for Glory games, whose little slice of paradise has one of my very favorite pieces of video game music. While remaining a nastalgic little tidbit, Erana's name is somehow greately overlooked, and thus, widely available. What a fortune for me.

Tinq (like "Tink") is a spin on Tinkerbell which is a nickname I earned at my 20th birthday after I got wasted and curled up under my tinkerbell blanket. I am a guy. I'm not gay. I just like Tinkerbell. Anyway, I've had variations of the name, and that seemed the least "Come sue me Disney" of them all.
Gotta love men who are comfortable with their masculinity and sexuality. See Also: http://outspark.com//forums/showthread.php?t=46865
Just thought that was worthy of praising.

Anyhow, I forgot to post about the avatar. Here are the reasons, in list form:
1. Tis femenine
2. Tis a healer class, my preferred choice.
3. Tis a hammer-weilding female RPG protagonist.
4. What more could a girl ask for?

My name started as the search for a new name on a 3d graphics site. It happens to be from the fact that I always have unfinished 3D projects, all of them being Works In Progress. sigh.. Before this I had things like rigormortis, regurtgitation (I know it's misspelled), undertaker (I don't watch wrestling) and some othr random ones created by a DnD name creator: Orgoloth.

I picked my screen name because Soundgarden is one of my favorite bands and their album Down On The Upside has a cool... oxymoronish... sense to it. Plus the CD was really good!

My avatar because I like the movie The Shining... "Here's Johnny!!"

Uncle Comrade is a username I've been using for so long I can't even remember how it originated. I think it goes back to when I was studying Communist Russia at school, and somehow involves the fictitious product 'Uncle Comrade's Misfortune Cookies' that I would greatly love to actually exist outside of my own mind.

As for the avatar, I've been playing a lot of Metroid Prime 3 recently.

My avatar and name are both derived from one of the best post-apocalptic Mel Gibson movies filmed in Australia ever. (The Road Warrior)

As an aside, the cropping hides the fact that my avatar is in fact flipping off all y'all.
(Scene after dropping the snake into the vehicle from above in the autogyro)

Haha! I was trying so hard to pick that out. I knew I have seen that man before just couldn't get it out of my head who he was. Great movie Mad Max was too.
