Hey could anybody link me to this /B/ thing. I want to see for myself how terrible it is.

well, not as bad as some darker pockets on the internet i.e. Encyclopedia Dramatica, but it's still not worth it.

So it's like, over 9000 people all of whom are just making really bad posts and use horrible grammer and can't spell and talk about bad stuff?

4chan's grammar is more reliable than just about any other forum actually. Putting /b/ aside, MOST of 4chan is made up of university students and such.

Well then what's so bad about it? Does it just feel bad man? Or is it really a horrible board?

Well the first thing to know about 4chan is that almost EVERYONE on there speaks in trolling in doublespeak. Partly because like any community they just have their little customs and whatnot but MOSTLY because it's huge and they try to stunt the influx of new users, not wishing to hear them repeating chuck norris jokes and shit.

So trollings like somebody on the internet posting a really dumb opinion, or acting stupid.

For instance: Somebody saying that the Holocaust didn't happen, or that Halo 3: ODST was good.

It's like that right?

Here is where I have been most frustrated. As you can see I'm actually quite new but have been abused for things I haven't said by fan boys etc when they've misread a post of mine.
I hate getting a reply and then discovering its from someone whose brain is more vacuous than my bank account and has turned all their venom on me.
I blame skim reading and passive aggressive tenancies.

Theres a few 40k forums which can get fairly bad. I've never been to 4chan so i wouldnt really know what its like. And youtube comments just demented.

As in the Tabletop game? Isn't there an official forum where mentioning the Squats gets you a lifetime ban?

Don't know about official, but yes. You should see what happens if you mention starctaft.

Do they get extremely butthurt?

Depends which forum.

Depends on if they are referring to Ultramarines vs Raynor, or Eldar vs Protoss? Or if Zerg are a ripoff of Alien, Tyranids, or Starshiip Troopers Arachnids (Correct answer is all 3).
Stuff like that basically?

Is it mostly fluff arguments, or do they get technical and flame a guy because he decided to make armored sentinels with autocannons instead of using heavy weapons teams?

With the star craft point, yeah they'll get pissy over all 3, (Through i don't know how they can get pissy over nids vs zerg, because arnt nids after all taken from aliens/starship troopers?)

With the fluff, i've seen a guy get annoyed and rage over the use of 'magic' (the term that is) in 40k.

Well, yeah, they're all inspired by Starship Troopers in the first place, but I wouldn't expect that to be common knowledge among people who partake in these flame wars in the first place.
