Trolling in itself is not funny, unless you do it well, and those guys clearly don't.

I'd say from experience... Roosterteeth has some pretty bad forums. /b/ and such are good choices too, but I've never seen anything that bad in Youtube.

Good god youtube. I think that the stupidest people who are on youtube are not the idiot spammers and ten year olds, but rather, the smart people. The smart ones gain a superiority complex from prolonged exposure to the site, and end up becoming jackasses.

Believe me, from where I hang around on Youtube, this is a very rare occurence.
Seriously, Youtube is not bad, it's just that you shouldn't really debate anyone there mostly because there is a great chance they're fucking idiots.

I found Biowares Fan Groups got Very VERY Spiteful against eachother.
Fans of Miranda or Thane get angry at Tali fans because their thread is bigger, go and troll. Then would discuss said trolling and or just discuss their hatred of the character and/or the fans. Met with cheer from their 'fellow fans'. Switch the words 'Miranda' 'Thane' and 'Tali' with pretty much any character and that is what you will get.
Got to the point of hatred that the Tali threads original post, a well written thing with various fan fictions, artworks, banners and the like were entirely mocked by altering images and names or making new ones of 'Nitfu Cal' Also known as the Biotic God. Humorous though he is in the game, the thread was one huge troll pot that plotted attacks on other groups openly while mocking mods and devs. It was sad that is even grew past 2 pages.

This is a list of ALL the boards of 4chan EXCEPT certain text boards that are directly subordinate to image boards like how /anime/ is to /a/ or /games/ is to /v/.

What everyone THINKS is ALL of 4chan is really just the one Random Board aka /b/.

Okay, they have other stuff, point taken. I still don't frequent the site, at all... I might get redirected there occasionally from some image, but that's about it.

/v/? /r/ Good? Oh you. Well /v/ is fun once you get past the BS.

/rs/ isn't really a BOARD so much as a search engine as I understand it, though I could be mistaken.

Don't go on /hr/ or /t/, so no comment.

Seems safer to avoid the site altogether, but thanks for the advice. :]

This about sums it up, only I wouldn't just narrow it to /b/, there's pretty much no safe place on 4chan, or for that matter most of the other chans out there.

Now hang on, some of the smaller boards are okay, and /a/ and /v/ are usually decent once you learn to read through all the trolling and doublespeak.

I'd still rather hang out on it than about 99% of all other internet forums.

I can't believe 4 pages went past without a mention of craigslist and its 'rants and raves' forum.

It's essentially a never ending stream of Brits and Americans calling each other 'fags' and laughing at each other's national tragedies and terrorist attacks.

It's not offensive as such, it's just depressing that it still goes on.

I admit once when I was very young, I went to chat rooms and forums just to troll and see how quickly I could get kicked out, but I assumed everyone grows out of it/gets bored and moves on to porn.

EDIT: I popped back after not having stuck my head in for a few months, and it seems not as bad as it used to be, although it's still highly idiotic.
