OT: Steam TF2 forums

Every thread is someone raging about a particular weapon being OP. It ususally turns out they were playing TF2 and had been killed by that weapon, which obviously means it's overpowered.

Either that, or it's a thread raging that someone dosen't have a hat (heaven forbid) or giving some ass-backward stupid suggestion for an unlockable weapon, which is usually either useless or ridiculously game-killing in its OP-ness

Well, while 4chan isn't as bad as those who've never been on it say, most of it is still stupid, pointlessly offensive, and just generally mentally deficient. I was on there for 2 weeks, nearly turned me off the internet.

Then I discovered this place! Yay!

EDIT: I'm serious though, I'm tired of people who obviously haven't been on 4chan saying it's the worst place on the internet. It isn't. It's a stupid imageboard with crap moderation that's basically just a bunch of jumped up teenagers being idiots with anonymity. That's it, it's not the darkest place on the internet, trust me on that one. Hell, 4chan themselves are actually curious as to why the Escapist embellishes them so much.

I think the worse places on the internet are probably white supremacist websites. I was reporting one of them (a joint venture between British skinhead group Combat 18 and Northern Irish paramilitaries the UDA) to some sort of internet regulatory committee and looking at some of it, it really truly showed how perverted the human psyche can become. Seriously, if you ever meet one of these people online, never entertain them by being offended by what they say, just ignore them because they are all, without deviation, pathetic, uneducated and small minded bigots.

Well of 4chan the only really bad one I can think is /b/ the others aren't too bad as they tend to stick to what they're for. The problem with /b/ as far as I remember is that it is the random board but even then it does what it is supposed to really. IGN and Gamespot can be pretty bad at times as they seem to have the biggest group of nob hats(see youtube viedo posted by The Warden).
