the Zynga forums
1 you get infractions even banned ( happened to me ) for asking for help or asking questions like why dont you guys fix your game and stop the hackers and botters
2 the staff on the forum are the most hostile people i have ever met they give you wrong advice and tell u do the same thing no matter what u ask
contact support contact customer support contact support like freaking robots
3 zynga lies to you and they tell you they fix problems in the game
then ten mins later more problems happen they claim they are fixing glitches like invite glitches but how hard can it be to fix a problem been happening over 7 months??
4 cant joke on the forum without infractions or warnings or being banned
5 POINT OUT AN OBVIOUS GLITCH OR PROBLEM IN GAME THEY INFRACTION AND SUSPEND U FOR IT

Offended is overrated. I think Fred Phelps's world glossary of damnation was worse. At the other end of the spectrum, the worse site is probably some disgusting porn site none of us would ever (admit to) seeing.

Like Furburt, I'd like to mention that /b/ isn't as bad as everyone keeps saying. I go there on an irregular basis, it's actually one of my favorite places to go when I'm bored. I get my fair share of chuckles there. Also, Encyclopedia Dramatica as a whole is quite funny. To me, anyway.

Anyway, yeah. The usual suspects: YouTube comments, GameFAQs, Offended. I'd like to say that FormSpring.me is a horrible place, too. From personal experience, it at first seems like a nifty idea. Then people decide to abuse the anonymous option and spam the hell out of you with hurtful comments and baseless accusations. It really shows how mean people can be...

Humans and anonymity just don't go too well together.

The Encyclopedia Dramatica Offended page, 4chan (never been there, never want to be there), and the Youtube comments section on anything that might go against someone's religious or political opinions. Granted, even AMVs/GMVs can get out of hand. Fangirls are really scary at times (even when excluding the Twilight fangirls). Also, the Fox "News" website, and Facebook. I'm on facebook for the sole reason of contacting friends since I am not a telephone person, but I dare not look at any fanpages, most of the people on those pages seem to be complete and utter idiots.

Not that I say it's a bad thing.
One troll has potential to be vaguely amusing to its observers.

I found Biowares Fan Groups got Very VERY Spiteful against eachother.
Fans of Miranda or Thane get angry at Tali fans because their thread is bigger, go and troll. Then would discuss said trolling and or just discuss their hatred of the character and/or the fans. Met with cheer from their 'fellow fans'. Switch the words 'Miranda' 'Thane' and 'Tali' with pretty much any character and that is what you will get.
Got to the point of hatred that the Tali threads original post, a well written thing with various fan fictions, artworks, banners and the like were entirely mocked by altering images and names or making new ones of 'Nitfu Cal' Also known as the Biotic God. Humorous though he is in the game, the thread was one huge troll pot that plotted attacks on other groups openly while mocking mods and devs. It was sad that is even grew past 2 pages.

Ah. "Shipping". BioWare games see a lot of it, but it's a scourge wherever it turns up. If you want to know more about the phenomenon, look it up on tvtropes.org.

Any advice forum where an "expert" tells clueless teens "the right way" to get a girlfriend. Especially if the advice-giver ever uses the words "be an alpha male."

Youtube is far worse than anything on 4Chan or ED. Easily. 4Chan and ED is made by a specific demographic mentality (usually of kids, or adults acting like kids) and it will appeal to just that demographic. Youtube users however come in a much larger variety of ages, religious beliefs, political leanings, ethnic group etc. It is far more shocking to see such a diverse bunch of ordinary people trying to murder one another online than it is on 4chan, where the hostility is contrived and mostly for the lolz.
