I never owned a console system (besides handhelds), despite my love for console games.
I am balls-terrible at Halo, and can't handle the controls. (I think that wasd + mouse is the king of FPS, but then, I'm mostly terrible at FPSs anyway. I can't wait to try out Metroid Prime 3).
I don't really like Counter-Strike either.
I haven't played Portal yet, I will buy it for myself after I've gotten enough work done.
I "got them all" on Pokemon Red, not with rare candies - I raised every single pokemon until it learned its best moves, and then let them evolve. The hard way. (I know, it wasn't that smart, but I was 13). I then got all 250 on Silver, the same way.
Civilization II and Lords of the Realm II used to be my favorite games PC games.
Except for Kings Quest games (played and beat them all except MoE), but I didn't like those as much as the Quest for Glory games, all of which I played through several times. (Adventure games for the win!)
I was sad when I first beat Zelda: Link's Awakening, and still get sad each time I watch the island disappear
I don't really like Super Mario Bros.
I think that Super Mario 64 DS was a pretty good remake.
In any game that includes disposable ally NPCs, I feel really bad if I let them die and usually load and try to beat the whole mission while keeping all of them alive. (Jedi trainees in Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, plus cloud city police, New Republic soldiers...etc.)
Back in 9th grade when the first Four Swords was announced, I made a sketch-comedy about it starring just me, trying to voice-act all four parts at once (Three swords and a Stick was the title).
Back in High School, I played Rome: Total War as the Carthaginians mostly for the stress relief I got from commanding Elephants to trample my foes.
I Rohan-rush on BFMEII, but I'm not so good at it.
I bought Lady Sia for my little sister for the GBA, but ended up playing and beating it myself too.
I once interrupted a lecture by telling the teacher to "do a barrel roll". I think it was an answer to a question, but honestly I forget.
I "strip" players who I know will die in RPGs, but usually let them keep their dresses because I feel bad.
I read Questionable Content.
When playing Ganondorf on Smash Bros Melee, I say "I'm the Juggernaut, *****" every time I hit anybody.
I never played FFVII.
My favorite game of all time is Legend of Zelda: Link's awakening.
During high school I collected Yugioh cards and played. I still have my decks, and still play now and then.
Segmentation Fault haunts my dreams. (Not really a gaming confession, but pretty close.)
I bought Sonic 3D blast and Sonic R (PC discs) at Walmart for $10. They are terrible. I should have read the reviews first - they are considered two of the WORST sonic games ever. (And that's saying a lot, considering recent entries.) I should have gotten the Sonic CD and Sonic & Knuckles pack instead. Oh well.
