Wow, now that's modest. And what war are you reffering to?

I get influenced by games and anime in both good ways and bad ways.
Mostly good ways though.

I compulsively buy new 360 games, only to tire of most of them within a week, then go and play Madness Interactive until my fingers bleed.

I never owned a console system (besides handhelds), despite my love for console games.

I am balls-terrible at Halo, and can't handle the controls. (I think that wasd + mouse is the king of FPS, but then, I'm mostly terrible at FPSs anyway. I can't wait to try out Metroid Prime 3).

I don't really like Counter-Strike either.

I haven't played Portal yet, I will buy it for myself after I've gotten enough work done.

I "got them all" on Pokemon Red, not with rare candies - I raised every single pokemon until it learned its best moves, and then let them evolve. The hard way. (I know, it wasn't that smart, but I was 13). I then got all 250 on Silver, the same way.

Civilization II and Lords of the Realm II used to be my favorite games PC games.

Except for Kings Quest games (played and beat them all except MoE), but I didn't like those as much as the Quest for Glory games, all of which I played through several times. (Adventure games for the win!)

I was sad when I first beat Zelda: Link's Awakening, and still get sad each time I watch the island disappear

I don't really like Super Mario Bros.

I think that Super Mario 64 DS was a pretty good remake.

In any game that includes disposable ally NPCs, I feel really bad if I let them die and usually load and try to beat the whole mission while keeping all of them alive. (Jedi trainees in Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, plus cloud city police, New Republic soldiers...etc.)

Back in 9th grade when the first Four Swords was announced, I made a sketch-comedy about it starring just me, trying to voice-act all four parts at once (Three swords and a Stick was the title).

Back in High School, I played Rome: Total War as the Carthaginians mostly for the stress relief I got from commanding Elephants to trample my foes.

I Rohan-rush on BFMEII, but I'm not so good at it.

I bought Lady Sia for my little sister for the GBA, but ended up playing and beating it myself too.

I once interrupted a lecture by telling the teacher to "do a barrel roll". I think it was an answer to a question, but honestly I forget.

I "strip" players who I know will die in RPGs, but usually let them keep their dresses because I feel bad.

I read Questionable Content.

When playing Ganondorf on Smash Bros Melee, I say "I'm the Juggernaut, *****" every time I hit anybody.

I never played FFVII.

My favorite game of all time is Legend of Zelda: Link's awakening.

During high school I collected Yugioh cards and played. I still have my decks, and still play now and then.

Segmentation Fault haunts my dreams. (Not really a gaming confession, but pretty close.)

I bought Sonic 3D blast and Sonic R (PC discs) at Walmart for $10. They are terrible. I should have read the reviews first - they are considered two of the WORST sonic games ever. (And that's saying a lot, considering recent entries.) I should have gotten the Sonic CD and Sonic & Knuckles pack instead. Oh well.

In COD4 I only have red tiger for one gun.

In my opinion, the hardest RTS level is the last night elf level in warcraft 3-where you defend the world tree- on hard.

I think the last level of Half life 2 is the easiest level i ever played.

I've never ever actually collected any of the collectibles in any game ever, I HATE Gears of War, and I feel halo 3 is inferior to halo 1.In game matchmaking pisses me off, I'd rather just have a big list of all the servers, and pick one my self, ala BF1942.

You are not the only one..I also try to use cheats when I can't finish some mission in any kind of game(last time was yesterday when finishing CoD4). I'm also afraid of zombies and think that MMO's suck. Oh wait, the last one isn't a secret. Never played a Halo game, and cheat half way in Half Life 1 and then stopped playing it.

I got completely wrapped up in the Halo 3 hype, which it failed to live up to.
I bought every version of Halo 3 and yeah, I regret it a little bit.
I hate Half-Life 2, I quite like Episode 1 though and I love Episode 2.

I had to register just to post in this thread.

The highest level I have ever attained in a MMORPG is 11.

I hate any stealth sections in games.

Other than a few attempts at MMORPGs, I have never played a game online.

The only Final Fantasy I ever finished was 7.

I love tactical RPGs like Final Fantasy Tactics more than should be allowed.

I loved the Wii at first, but think the novelty wears off fast.

I hate Microsoft, but love my 360. Among it's many virtues, I think the controller is the best designed controller ever. I have never had the RROD.

Just to be different from most on this thread: I like Halo and Gears of War

I thought the gravity gun was merely ok and much preferred the guns that shoot bullets. I didn't bother saving any buildings in the last part of Ep 2 and just waited near the base for the striders to come to me.

Before 2007, the only game consoles I ever owned were an NES and a Sega Genesis. Most of my gaming was done on PC or at a friends house.

I have played no fewer than 6 different Yu-Gi-Oh games on several systems including the actual physical card game and generally enjoyed them all.

Alright, this is a good thread so here it goes.

1. I only found this sight because of the ZP reviews
2. I cant stand people who bow down to everything Yahtzee says; lets not inflate his ego anymore, yeah? We all know that he feeds off this crap, whether he admits it or not.
3. This thread was the reason I registered. I like it.
4. I am perfectly sane, successful pre-law student and I cant believe I havent quit video games yet.
5. I have played all 3 Halos and I have no strong opinions either way about them, but I will tell you that I despise how people gang up on the series all the damn time.
6. I hate WoW. Once, a fellow college buddy could not leave his apartment so we could go drink and sled during a snowstorm that cancelled my Universitys classes because he was -in flight-. I nearly had a stroke. It was at that moment that I realized WoW and all other MMORPGrs were a waste of my time.
7. I have always hated Anime and JRPGs, but there was a point where I LOVED FF7 and 8.
8. I thought FF8 was better. Suck on it.
9. I thought the SNES was stupid. I liked my Sega.
10. I loved Earthworm Jim
11. I had the Sega Channel
12. We had a TIE Fighter club at my grammar school.
13. I was the only person in my grammar school to unlock All Guns in Goldeneye
14. They actually called me Master All Guns for it.
15. I didnt see the big fuss over Gears of War, or Half Life (or any of its incarnations) for that matter.
16. I liked Perfect Dark 64. I liked Perfect Dark for the 360 too. It was just entertaining.
17. I giggled like a school girl the 1st time I heard Duke Nukem say Blow it out your ass. That introduced me to inappropriate video games.
18. I like making celebrity Miis. But weird ones. Like Liam and Noel Gallagher. That makes for a good boxing match.
19. I was totally crushed when Gaz got shot at the end of COD4. That pissed me off so much.
20. While Im talking about COD4, I dont give a shit what color your gun is. I dont care what prestige level you are. If you cant beat me or my team, then shut the f*ck up.
21. Im a Leftenant, rank 29 right now, and no I dont plan on prestige mode. Why? Cause seriously, who gives a shit? I just want to shoot people.
22. Im freakishly competitive and I hate losing. I gain some kind of sick satisfaction in finishing ahead of others in COD4s team deathmatch. Especially when they are some golden desert eagle carrying, prestige mode wanker.
23. I TOTALLY HATE LOSING when I play as the SAS
24. I named my clan GAZ
25. Seriously, whyd they kill Gaz?
26. I play soccer in my spare time. Yeah. Soccer. GK right here.
27. Manchester United are the greatest team to ever grace gods green earth.
28. I hate Sven Goran Erikson
29. I really enjoyed writing this

I'm a man, but in every game that gives me opportunity to create and customize my character, I always choose a female. The hotter the better.
