As the title suggests, has there ever been a section in a game you love where you just thought "Gee if this bit wasn't here this game would be near perfect"? well put down those sections and what game there from.
To start off i have 2:
The Mission in dragon age: origins that takes place in the fade (Broken circle, So much going back and forth
The stronghold missions in just cause 2 because they where basically the same every time

Definitely agree on the Fade in Dragon Age. That part sucked.

Mining in Mass Effect 2.

Picking flowers in Red Dead Redemption.

The level in FFXII when you're inside that giant egg.

The Xen parts in Half life, especially Blue Shift. That fucking maze got me lost for ages.

The last parts of Killzone 2 also pissed me off, still ain't finished it.

I'm going to go for thee obvious one and say the Water Tempe in OOT. However, after playing it again I have grown to really enjoy it!

The mounted gun sections in Dead Space, so very very annoying.

The slow motion camera when you blow up an opponent in Split/Second: Velocity which finishes just in time for you to crash into a barrier. Also very annoying.

The lategame in Fallout: New Vegas is a major slog. Getting sent all over the map to do missions for Mr. House or NCR or Yes Man or Caesar is where I often burn out on my character. I've only actually beaten the game once.

Fighting Velius in FF Tactics. My god if it weren't for that 1 battle I would play the game way more often.

The on-foot sections of Front Mission Evolved. Luckily there were only like two but still...

Escort missions in Bioshock. GAH! WHY?

If they wanted to make the game longer they should just have given us a new area.

Oh, and the notorious (if you're old enough) escort mission in X-Wing, that necessitated a re-release of the game with an easier mode.

Don't make us look after NPCs unless that's the entire game mechanic or they can't die. They're idiots.

Mass Effect 2- Reaper Ship- why? Why? WHY? WHY FUCKING WHY? SCIOOOOOOONS!

Black Ops- Rebirth was just a bad section. Boring areas repeated over and over again...

Modern Warfare- Heat- excellent level, but a fucking pain on Veteran.

The reflecting puzzle in Darksiders... it was so fucking tedious and it was honestly the first time I was actually pissed off at a game...<.<

The Deep Roads in DO:A, just fuck that. It lasted forever. I have nightmares about slogging through that hell hole, waist high in Darkspawn corpses and stuck in spiderwebs.

The really, really annoying bits in Twilight Princess where you have to wander around the grove with no map looking for that little bastard who keeps spawning the puppet-minions. I just hated that.
