That is so spot-on, I'm suprised I didn't draw that connection to that movie yet.Scarim Coral said:So this is like this generation of "Who Frame Roger Rabbit" well cameo wise?

Some guy has suggested that the purple haired goth chick is Misery from Cave Story.Aiddon said:I have no clue what the purple woman, the devil guy, and the robot are from though. Might be generic stand-ins.
Oh. My. GOSH. That image is hilarious. "game unpluggged, plz help"..."will NPS in FPS for food"...Oh gosh...I laughed for five minutes straight. This...this is pure gamer gold here.Aiddon said:http://cdn.bleedingcool.net/wp-content/uploads//2012/06/wreck-it-ralph-plaza.jpg?d58414
Is it from Zombies at my Neighbors?Megacherv said:Please tell me I'm not the only one who knows which game that zombie's from...
Naa, it's a generic armour in a game that Ralph enters in the trailer.Ultratwinkie said:The big guys in black armor. Their armor looked like N7 armor. Boxy shoulders and all.anonymity88 said:I spotted what looked like it could have been Agent 47 but couldn't see Shephard. Bison is there again though.Ultratwinkie said:I just saw a bulky Commander Shepard and Agent 47 (possibly) from Hitman in the crowd.Aiddon said:another screen shot has Chun-li:

Then there'd have to be a Kingdom Hearts sub-world within the Wreck-it Ralph world. And within THAT sub-world would be a Wreck-it Ralph sub-world, which would contain a Kingdom Hearts sub-world, which would contain a Wreck-it Ralph sub-world, which would YOU'VE CREATED A TIME PARADOX!nuba km said:Also could Disney use a wreck-it ralph world in a kingdom hearts game and what possibilities could that lead to (zerg heartless? bowser heartless?).
He looks like Donkey Kong to me. I think the most impressive thing about this movie (of what I've seen so far), is the way they've managed to make their wholly original, brand-new character genuinely look at home among all the seasoned videogame icons from the arcade era and onwards!jFr[e said:ak93]Did anyone else notice how Ralph looked like a Heavy from TF2?
be aware it's hard to tell sarcasm in text.Jailbird408 said:Oh, for christ's sake people, it's just a movie about videogames!
A well-done, well-animated, well-acted movie with a cameo from ROBOTNIK AND BOWSER OMFG...
I mean, what is wrong with us upholding that gamer stereotype where we only like other media if it contains videogame references? Shame on you... us.
The thing is, I think, is that while Zangief isn't a bad guy, he's often labeled as one because of his big, hulking form and the fact that he is Russian. If the whole point of the meeting is that they're all labeled as villains and they don't want to be, it makes sense in the context of the story.StriderShinryu said:Yep. That's rather sad to me. Zangief isn't a villain now and never really was a villain. M.Bison has always been the big bad of the SF universe and they actually go so far as to put him in the same meeting scene. Then they give the villain speaking role to Zangief.Pedro The Hutt said:I'm just a liiiittle bit wary of this. (Zangief isn't a bad guy for one thing!)
If this was done by Pixar I'd be sleeping soundly, but Disney can be a bit hit & miss. But we'll find out this autumn.
*sigh*
Sorry. I can respect their willingness to actually go out and source real characters to use, but they can't be bothered to actually determine who's a bad guy and who isn't for a meeting scene explicitly about videogame bad guys? Given that I can't say I have much faith in how they use any other things they're paying for the rights to.
If you go with the theory that Ryu is the main hero of street fighter then technically all the other fighters are villians since you must defeat them to beat the game.StriderShinryu said:The only place where Zangief has even been a villain is in the terrible live action Street Fighter movie that starred Van Damme. He appeared in the Street Fighter animated movie as well for a quick fight with Blanka but was just in the role of a rather random combatant fighting for money at a party hosted by Balrog/Boxer. In the games he's always been a neutral character who fights for the glory of his country and his no villainous intention what so ever. So, pretty much not a villain. Unless, of course, the simple fact that he fights for Russia makes him a villain.Space Jawa said:From what I've heard, the games are actually one of the few places where he ISN'T a villain of some kind.StriderShinryu said:Yep.
