From the beginning, I've always been curious as to what titles they would give the Pokemon games. We had basic colours (followed by colours with ADJECTIVES!), then basic elements (gold and silver; then diamond), then Diamond and Pearl. Now I hear Pokemon Plutonium, and am starting to question what later titles will be.

Pokemon Sulfate? Pokemon Hydrocarbons? Or better yet, Pokemon Uranium! The game that explains that Pokemon were created by nuclear exposure!
Seriously, Plutonium was a joke title.

The Pokemon series died at Yellow.

Only Red and Blue [and Silver and Gold] are the true Pokemon!
Fix'd.

Breeding=Way to win at Poke'Mon.

This Is A Notice To Everyone Under The Pretense That There Is An Actual Pokemon Uranium
THERE IS NO POKEMON URANIUM
The name is a place-holder for whatever the newly announced Pokemon game will be, given by the fine people here at the escapist.

... Sorry but no. They wont' make idiotic element names. The only ones other than the two they used already(gold, silver) that have a chance are the noble gases as they are the only ones that sound cool. "Pokemon Neon; Krypton, Xeon; etc"

I think they'll go back to precious, semi-precious stones.

Pokemon Matter and Pokemon Anti-Matter!!!
But how on earth will they battle?
In space!

OT, but really, besides graphics, when has the pokemon battle system changed?

at least with final fatnasy they tweak it a little.

I meant that an antimatter Pokemon attacking a matter Pokemon would cause them both to be negated.

So it may not be Pokemon Plutonium, but it's bound to be as absurd as that.

I'll change the OP if you want :p

Pokemon obsidian. Or maybe pokemon congloberate, just to freak people out.
I read that as Pokemon colgate, then laughed. Then I read congloberate and laughed more.

i just can't wait until they run out of this kind of stuff. it's pretty safe to say that pokemon has a good few years to go so i can foresee a pokemon butter or pokemon gravy on the horizon. after all, we all know that the jump from colours to elements is as easy as elements to condements.

The series died after yellow.

It's just the same crap redone over and over now, with new pokemon that look more and more like that which you find in a truck stop toilet.
