Pokemon Wood and Pokemon Plastic!
The ecoawareness version?

I can picture it now...Team Rocket is letting out too many greenhouse gases and it's up to you to stop them! WITH RECYCLING!
Al Gore used "Documentary"

It's not very effective.

The Pokemon series died at Yellow.

Only Red and Blue are the true Pokemon!
Red and Blue, the most flawed, imbalanced parts of the series are the only true pokemon games, completely disregarding all the work put into ensuring future generations improve on their predecessors best they can. Okay, dude, whatever floats your boat.

Anyways, they haven't done a pokemon black, pokemon white, yet. Though doing so would have some... unfortunate implications. But a pokemon Light/Dark would seem plausible. The first pokemon they released, Zoruark, was a dark type.

They improved the battle system, but kept adding more and more bullshit to the series. That's the problem. If they strictly improved it everything would be fine. But no, they add 100 more every year creating an awkward rebalancing and an entire shift in the metagame, add retarded crap like pokemon contests, an even dummer bad guy thing, fail to remind the player that they are not the center of the world, keep taking away the good stuff, and keep holding back rare pokemon. There's no reason someone should ever have to buy a plane ticket to get a little bit of code. People bought the game, they have a right to all the pokemon.

Pokemon [your name here]
Pokemon [insert name here]
pokemon we gave up on names
in my opinion Pokemon started coguhing at Ruby and Saphire and died around Diamond/Pearl (with the exception of the remakes)Pokemon should end and Nintendo should find a new franchise

It's just the same crap redone over and over now, with new pokemon that look more and more like that which you find in a truck stop toilet.
Wouldn't that mean the series died before yellow? Since technically you were just doing the same stuff in that one too

Yeah, but, at least the pokemon made sense.

Sorry to be antagonistic, but:

What part of an anthropomorphic gerbil that can spontaneously generate an electrical current that it can direct with its will, regardless of current paths of least resistance, do you find makes sense?

Again, not to the point of this thread; just had to put it out there.

I'm thinking Garnet and Topaz... Red and Blue gems still.

Or maybe Black and White, or something similar.

Well they ran out of good metal now they gotta go with the more obscure and radioactive elements. Next we'll have Uranium and maybe when the gases become the hit names there will be Pokemon Oxygen and Pokemon Hydrogen

Well they seem to move on to more and more valuable substances, but it's kind of hard to out-value diamond. Unless they call it like "Pokemon lambhourghini" or "Pokemon winning lottery ticket"

But in all due seriousness, I could see them going for like, planets or something. "Pokemon Saturn" "Pokemon Venus" ect. Though it is japanese, and they're known to string words together incoherently, so we might get something stupid like "pokemon happy sparkle destiny ultimate"

Pokemon Bleach and Pokemon Ammonia. That would give me a nice laugh until people mix those two agents together...
