Seemingly lesser-known bands you like

So, Escapists, having it simply put, what bands do you like that you feel are lesser-known in the music world? Being an avid music listener myself, I like talking about my musical tastes now and then. Many times however, I hear the response of something along the lines of "Never heard of 'em" or simply "Huh?"

Some examples of mine would be Animal Collective, Aphex Twin, Dance Gavin Dance, and Metronomy.

And please, don't go harrasing other posters by telling them "That band/genre sucks."

Holy crap. I was not aware that we had such a musical genius on here. You know he's not a tool because he probably listens to underground bands. It also gives him the right to laugh at other people who think that they're original in any way. They're tools after all, as you're the one that's not a tool because you're underground! Let me guess, everyone around you is an idiot when it comes to music, right?
