Six floating faces boss (?) fight in "Darksiders 2". It is just long and tedious.

Batman: Arkham Asylum is one of my favorite games but I absolutely hate the sewer section with Killer Croc.

Replaying most of the missions in the beginning of Saint's Row games. Most of them are showing you how to do minigames -- minigames which usually are "Drive here while doing this/in this amount of time" or "Kill everything". It may sound tolerable, but it's atrociously boring when you are forced to only do certain amounts of driving or certain amounts of mindless killing (that instantly are reset at the completion of the game) for maybe fifteen missions.

Lets have a looksy...

The Dromedary escort in Tachyon: The Fringe. Huge escort mission when you have, say, the space equivalent of a Spitfire, and your enemies, which outnumber you 20-1, use F-22s.

Significant portions of Taris in KotOR. Actually, make that basically all of Peragus in the sequel as well.

Everything in Mass Effect from finishing character creation to finally being let out into the universe.

Tranquility Lane in Fallout 3. I hate that place.
I sorta like the feel of that place. It can take you around ten minutes if you do the morally evil path and do all of Braun's demands (which I still find funny) or you can get it over with almost immediately by pulling the failsafe.

Certainly not as bad as Vault 101.

The beginning of EVERY Assasins Creed game. I know all this game, you don't need to tell me again. Let me have fun already!

That was the last like ten minutes of the game, from what I can remember. If anything it's the entirety of the Library that I hate about that game. I usually end up with no filters, and since you can only buy them when you wont need them (The first town is the only place you buy them, seriously, wth is with that?)

Backtracking in Metroid Prime 1 and 2, The stupid grapple attachment section in 3 (freaking motion controls make it impossible for me, so I gave up)

90% of opening sections of all games. Especially in RPGs and MMOs. I know I rolled a new class, but I know the basics of the game. Just let me learn my class and see if I'm going to have fun with this one.

Every time I play God of War, I hate the two block pushing portions because it is just a nuisance making it work out.

Ok lets see now...

The chameleon sections in Resistance 2, so irritating that if your not looking in exactly the right direction then your skewered.
this is meant as an insult or anything but i have never seen anyone say resistance 2 was one of their favorite games. A lot of people really love 1 and 3 but most people i know disliked that 2 had straight up full regenerating health and that being in a more full on war as opposed to supporting a resistance was kinda boring(basically: what is this CoD doing in my Resistance)

OT: the fucking Rickenbacker. i have played through that game at least a dozen times, i don't even use maps because i know everything by heart but ffs i always miss one fucking egg and have to check every one again and again and i get turned around in some dark maintenance shaft and then i run out of power for something or my number of psi-booster gets dangerously low...
my orientation on the vonBraun is near perfect, why do i suck so hard on the Rickenbacker?
And Nar shaddar in Kotor 2, i hate that the game traps you in a 2-3 hour story bit you have no way to skip. WHY CAN'T I JUST NOT MEET THE FUCKING ECLIPSE BOSS? he invited me, i could just say no.

The Challenge of the Gods parts of the God of War series. Not part of the main story or anything, but you need them for platinum trophies and they're so damn close to impossible it hurts. Only finished it in GoW III. On all the other games it's the only trophy I'm missing. Could most probably pull it off after a while, but trial and error isn't my thing. I get frustrated very quickly and it all goes downhill from there.

Also everything up to when you leave Luca in Final Fantasy X. Played through that part so many times... Luckily I was smart enough to leave a save at that place last time I played, so I could skip it.

May or may not get slapped for this, but most of the middle or Dragon Age: Origins is this for me. I love the origins, the Urn quest, and everything from the Landsmeet on, but the rest of it is just SUCH A DRAG. Every time I play now I just use the debug codes to skip Ostagar, Orzammar, The Mages Tower, Redcliffe, and the forest because all of those quests are just so dull and uninteresting. That prison escape though, super good.

The 'Ambush' level in Thief 2. All the streets look too similar so I get always get lost and end up rushing through it by the end.
I'm also not a huge fan of the 'Blood' level. The first part is alright but the second half is linear and boring. Plus, I've never really liked the fantasy elements of the series. Sneaking through a bland forest just isn't as fun as breaking into a bank.

Out of curiosity, did you realize that you could destroy the blob-spawners? Because I was stuck on that same exact spot until I figured that out. They just keep coming forever if you don't destroy them, but once you do the section is a lot easier (at least on normal difficulty).

Peragus makes it difficult to start a new KOTOR 2 playthrough...It is worth the hassle though.

Telos in KOTOR 1 was brilliant though. Bioware knew exactly what they were doing with that one. Get the player emotionally involved with the people of Telos...Then bomb the fuckers.

I honestly can't remember now, it's been so long since I played it. I'll be sure to remember that tip when I do eventually get back into it.

Protip: If you run ahead of Miller and get to the ladder, the amoebas (blobs) stop spawning and start tracking you instead. If you climb the ladder, they will just mill around at the bottom, so you'll want to clear those ones before you go get Miller.

OT: Fallout 3: Broken Steel, the part where you have to head into Old Olney. Somewhat worth it because of the awesome Tesla Cannon at the end, but Deathclaws.

The whole pretending to be a big daddy section in bioshock. Seriously, fuck this shit.

Also, as many people have said, the openings of KOTOR 2 and, to a lesser extent, KOTOR 1.

Still a pain on Ranger Hardcore mode.

OT: dunno if these are spoilers but I use the spoiler tage anyway:

Borderlands 2, Bright Lights, Flying City mainquest especially in True Vault Hunter Mode, both the Stalker's and the Overlook defending part are a nightmare
