Do what everyone else is telling you to do. Sell the Wii, and get the PS3. Its got great games. I love it more than my 360.

Better games, better hardware, far cheaper. If you feel you must get a ps3 then at least wait a few months. What with it being open knowledge they have cut their manufacturing costs by 70% they really have no excuse to keep the PS3 price soo fucking high. At least wait till christmas before you get one.
PSX games are backwards-compatible on every PS3 model available.Macgyvercas said:Just make sure you get a model that's backwards compatable...In case you want to play PS2 games...Or even PSone games if you're retro
Its impossible the new PS3's had the emotion engine chip removed, so it's a hardware and a firmware issue. The slim ps3 rumours also state they may reintroduce the technology.j0z said:If the rumors are true all PS3s could be getting backwards compatibility through a firmware update at some point. Also, all PS3s can play PS1 games.Macgyvercas said:Just make sure you get a model that's backwards compatable...In case you want to play PS2 games...Or even PSone games if you're retro
I say go for it, the PS3 has some great game on it. I don't think you will be disappointed. Be sure to get one of the big models, you will want that hdd space! Or just buy another hdd, but maybe not a ssd![]()
Lol trust me. A good decision to convert.MrTurquoise said:...Well, no one else seems to care about discussing this sort of thing with me, so I'll try here.
Basically, I've had almost NO fun with my Wii after beating the few good games on it, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl has gotten boring, and really isn't quite as awesome as I hoped it'd be, and I've lost interest in the constant tedious repeating adventures of Mario, Zelda, Metroid, and so on, so I may convert to a PS3.
Is this a decent move? Also, what are some good games to get to start off with for the PS3? Some personal opinions from fellow gamers on the net would be most appreciated...
