I'm going to recieve a neat $500 soon and thought now may be the time to invest in a PS3. I have every other console, but am feeling this hole in my collection. The problem is I don't feel as depressed by this predicament as I thought I would when it first hit the shelves. I'm yet to see a PS3 exclusive that demands I own the console, but then I thought perhaps I'm not trying hard enough.

I enjoy JRPGs and adventure games. From the get go I always said I'd get a PS3 when Tekken 6 and FFXIII came out, but as we know, fate, good marketing and a grab for cash stepped in to ensure my 360 would play them. The only thing it has going for it now is Versus XIII, and who knows when that'll be released.


So, if you love the PS3, tell me why someone like me should own one, with emphasis on the awesome games I am yet to trip over.

Uncharted 2...enough said...but, just in case it wasn't enough, I'll list a couple of other things.
inFamous (This game is one of my favorites of 2009)
Demon's Souls (Haven't played it yet, but I have heard a lot of good things about it)
Killzone 2 (If you like shooters then you owe it to yourself to play this game. It is a nice change of pace from MW2)
Blu-Ray Player (If you do not have one already then this is probably your best option)
God of War 3

Ive seem to have lasted perfectly well so far.. I mean after all the only complaint and or argument i have had in this entire 2 weeks i just started being active is you.. According to IGN, MW2 is perfectly balanced.

DO i have to break it down for you? THE PS3 Sucks! its over priced and its Exclusives are not worth it.. When you can get the XBOX and have many better shooters and decent RPGS and or RTS's for a lesser price a better online experience better online store better EVERYTHING! Its just a goddamn fact.. Now this discussion is over..

Well, I myself wouidn't want to miss God of War 3 and The Last Guardian for the wolrd.

Plus, Infamous, Uncharted 2 and Demon's Souls were pretty awesome to. If you like any of these games you should be able to pick one up for about $250.

i don't know about your country region, but in Denmark the difference between a elite and a slim is 2 euro, and games for the xbox cost 4 euros more, but i agree that the xbox have an significantly larger library of games, i cant say anything about the quality of the older ones as i only use my slim and i was mainly a pc gamer until a few months ago.

edit: and i completely agree on the better store, PSN is nothing compared to XBLA, lots of awesome smaller games.

edit x2: good rts's? maybe i have been spoiled by the pc's rts's but i have yet to see a really good console rts.
