No need to get so offensive over a post. Just ignore each other.imahobbit4062 said:Here's an even better idea!inpachi said:Heres a idea! How about put the 500$ in your savings account and save yourself a bunch of hate and anger! And if you dont have one make one!kawaiiamethist said:I'm going to recieve a neat $500 soon and thought now may be the time to invest in a PS3. I have every other console, but am feeling this hole in my collection. The problem is I don't feel as depressed by this predicament as I thought I would when it first hit the shelves. I'm yet to see a PS3 exclusive that demands I own the console, but then I thought perhaps I'm not trying hard enough.
I enjoy JRPGs and adventure games. From the get go I always said I'd get a PS3 when Tekken 6 and FFXIII came out, but as we know, fate, good marketing and a grab for cash stepped in to ensure my 360 would play them. The only thing it has going for it now is Versus XIII, and who knows when that'll be released.
So, if you love the PS3, tell me why someone like me should own one, with emphasis on the awesome games I am yet to trip over.
Don't post if all you're going to do is post shit!
I just bought resistance 1 and am amazed at how generic and boring it is. I could not comprehend the praise it received at all.imahobbit4062 said:Resistance 1 and 2, and both Ratchet games.
I don't buy consoles for 1 exclusive, I weighed the differences, and bought both, but if I had to choose just one, and didn't have a gaming PC, I'd get the 360.ShredHead said:People buy the 360 for Halo, why shouldn't they buy the PS3 for Uncharted?Volafortis said:The fact is, Unchared 2 was a decent, hell, a great, game, but not enough to sell a console by itself. I'd give it 8.5 to 9 out of 10, and it stand as a good action game, but the final boss fight alone is laughable enough to not make it perfect.Woburn said:Uncharted 2...enough said...but, just in case it wasn't enough, I'll list a couple of other things.
inFamous (This game is one of my favorites of 2009)
Demon's Souls (Haven't played it yet, but I have heard a lot of good things about it)
Killzone 2 (If you like shooters then you owe it to yourself to play this game. It is a nice change of pace from MW2)
Blu-Ray Player (If you do not have one already then this is probably your best option)
God of War 3
Haven't actually played inFamous
Demon's Souls is a great game, but not for the average gamer
KZ2 was an overly generic shooter, I'd give it 6.5 to 7 out of 10.
Blu-Ray is nice
God Of War 3 is also decent, but I wasnt overly impressed by the demo.
Also, it just comes down to whether you like the exclusives, because I grew up with a PS2, a PS3 was a natural choice.
Hush your tongue. Few games have been produced that have made the SIXAXIS worth a damn.Giovanto said:The SIXAXIS is nice in it's own right as well. Adds a little bit of control variety.

I love the PS3, but I loved it even more once I got the sense that developers have forgotten this technology exist.
RIP SIXAXIS.
I just think it's a nifty little gimmick. Not a major selling point in the end, but nifty none the less.DracoSuave said:I noticed you didn't say 'because the motion-sensitivity is so awesome'.starfox444 said:I like the SIXAXIS more than the dualshock 3 controller because it is lighter and I would have turned off rumble anyway. Dualshock 3 still has that feature.
But I can't fault your reasoning, if you don't like vibro, then the sixaxis has its advantages... none of which are the SIXAXIS-ness of it.
