You lot are. As always. Delightfully predictable.

Kill me then. And here I was thinking that at some point you would figure it out. There are things going on outside of your knowledge and that scares you and thus, as always you target the dude willing to put himself out there. You do realize that it is more likely that the killer will off me this coming cycle unless I get saved by a mastermind?

Hint *FLOCKING* hint.

But then, you lot always do seem to have sympathy for the killer. I assume you'll still get some more intelligence from some patsy who's willing to risk themselves for your benefit.

Why would the killer target you over anyone else? Everyone has a role, and there's nothing inherent to the mastermind that makes you more valuable than anyone else. So you stop Bad Pouch from killing one person: that just means he will kill another. He doesn't care.

Since we have no way to corroborate your evidence, you're basically begging us to execute you. You put yourself out there, but I have no idea what you were actually trying to achieve.

My guess is that he's not actually a Mastermind, but a Corruptor, and is trying to get on the list for everyone so that they will vote for him and he'll be able to poison everyone... however, even if he gives everyone else 1 vote each because everyone votes for him... he still died, because it is one person with 19 votes, and 18 people with 1 vote.

@Jux: Red Rocket the Infiltrator. Oh jeez that's dirty. I like it!

I'm making a big assumption, but I assume at least one person picked Mastermind and would vote. It would be funny though if each round was just 1 vote being added on to someone outside of votes from powers.

Maybe. Giving everyone a slight bruise in exchange for committing suicide seems like a dull play, but anything is possible.

OR he's trying to make people think he's a Mastermind to keep people from voting for him, because he's actually Bad Pouch! Yeah, I like this theory better.

@Dema: The Corruptor is kind of a shitty role, I don't think anyone took it.

While I agree that it doesn't offer much in terms of helping you win the game, it's still possible that someone took it for the lulz. Though the danger of getting one additional vote through the Corruptor probably won't deter most people from voting for anyone, so I doubt it will have much effect.

@Hippo: If someone has taken the role for teh lulz it wouldn't be worth it since you don't even know who's voting for you, if any.

@Aero: Yeah, pretty much. Which is why it only really makes sense if you do everything you can to make people vote for you...and then you die. And if Wary wanted that, he would probably have tried even harder to be suspicious so that literally everyone playing votes for him? I'm not sure.

Yeah its not really worth it due to the additional votes you'd get on yourself. The payment would stack on you while the damage you dealt out could only be equal with a lucky first try or through addong up spreaded damage.

The Corruptor is a functioning class, just not one designed to be used every turn. You pick your moments, because it's not about racking up the votes, it's about making sure you can get just that one more vote onto your enemies. Keeping them somewhat even with you. The chances of an Infiltrator pulling votes off you and spreading your pain to others is also really high.

An If you reach the end as a corruptor and you're neck and neck with the hero you've won.

You sure? The Corruptor receives a vote when they use their ability, so they'd still be tied. And you've already mentioned that the Hero gets priority at the end, meaning the Corruptor would lose no matter what.

The Overlord is never wrong, but since you have such a dashing name, I will forget this incident!

Where are my missing votes!

Why is the Hero still alive?!

Dark Elf drops a note regarding corruptors and their role then disappears under globe of darkness.

In a team effort, the corruptor would possibly have an interesting role. So for instance, they could 1. Pin votes on those not on the team, making voting the non-team members off easier. 2. Act as a public face to, not only draw votes, but to give out intelligence gathered by the mastermind / dominator without risking those roles on the team.

Still leaves the Corruptor likely to die. Not very rewarding for him, is it?

True. Though if you're trying to suggest that's what you were doing, handing out information given to you by a mastermind, it requires that a mastermind trusts you enough to use you as a public face. I don't know why anyone would do that, since your words are like magnets for votes. If you're gonna get a public face, it's better if he doesn't die, and if people actually believe what he says.

You might be the first person that got the joke behind why I chose that role.

It seems like we're unlikely to use these rules again too soon but maybe if the Corruptor got a pass on the increase if the hero voted for them that round.

He's trying to stress us out. It's part of how he controls such an unruly mob. We sit here all day wondering if we're dead or not!

OOC: Armadox is probably trying to clear it with The Escapist to post a picture of Jarlaxle due to copyrighting issues. And then once that's done, he has to draw Jarlaxle, what with his many coloured cloak and big sexy feather. Additionally he has to try to figure out the complete mess that we gave him when we voted.

Or he's working.
