You got Jace, Memory Adept? Dayum... I wish they'd reprinted Liliana, though Sorin does cover their need for a black planeswalker. Also, Sorin was a good pick since he'll be out of standard decks with the release of Innistrad.Fragrance of Mtn Dew said:@CA Yeah, M12 kinda sucks. Last time I ever buy a box of a core set... I did manage to pull the new Jace though. Innistrad should be pretty good though. And I heard a rumor that the block after that will be a return to Ravnica which should be pretty sweet as well.
That sounds like it'll be awesome. I'll have to start thinking up some good ideas for a planeswalker to use. I suppose most of the mechanics will be pretty straightforward like burn, kill spells, summoning creatures and the like. And mill/discard would be like erasing memory. Not too sure how one would write out the effects of mana ramp spells or card drawing spells though.
Alright, I'll keep that in mind. Which books have you read? For the purposes of this RP, I recommend the Eisenhorn and Ravenor trilogies by Dan Abnett, so people get a feel of how Inquisitors and their teams operate.Schizzy said:@CA: If you're starting a Warhammer 40K RP, I'm in. Though I'd have to warn you that all I know about 40K is from Dawn of War I and II, source books and novels, rather than actually having played the miniature games.
I'd love to join the Warhammer one, but the only experience I have is a 585-point starter army and a 30 minute trial of Dawn of War 2.CounterAttack said:Edit: Vote incoming.
In other news, I have two potential RPs that I'm working on. Would anyone be interested in either:
1) A Warhammer 40,000 thread, in which an Inquisitor and his team uncover a Chaos plot to bring about the manifestation of a daemonic primarch?
or 2) A Magic: The Gathering RP, in which our characters are planeswalkers who land on a world about to plunge into planetary war? This world is untouched by the hands of other planeswalkers; through random chance, we are the first ever to discover this plane.
@Fragrance: I figure you might like the idea of an MtG RP. It's based on the set I'm working on, and is meant to accompany it (though I have no idea if the RP will become part of the set's canon lore).
