@CA If they get Your Fate is Thrice Sealed on the first turn I've found it can get kinda rough, especially if the get more than one land since they can end up with a two turn head start on you. Once I had just cast Ulamog and he got the one that lets him exile a creature with flying a creature without flying and a graveyard, which is probably the only out to Ulamog in the whole game. And the one that destroys all nonland permanents target player controls is pretty brutal as well. But you're right, now that I think about it there aren't many that do anything on the first turn.

@Fragrance: Nah... what you want is Realms Befitting My Majesty on the first turn, then The Iron Guardian Stirs for a defence against any creatures your opponents play, then Your Fate is Thrice Sealed to drop a couple extra lands, preferably three. That way you have at least five lands on turn three, assuming you have a good opening hand, which you should. If you get three lands from YFiTS, then you can play anything short of Darksteel or a big Eldrazi.

@CA Yeah.... That'd be pretty brutal. Of course, without the right schemes I've found the Archenemy goes down really easily. Playing against Garruk my two teammates died immediately and I proceeded to win the game by myself. That felt pretty sweet.

So, are we allowed to voice our opinions on who we think the killer is, to influence voting and such? I presume so, but I guess it's a bit late for that.

Of course, if I end up being correct in my suspicions, that would make me a pretty big target for the killer. Then again, if I'm killed in the next round, it would be fairly obvious that I was right and the killer is trying to silence me. Hmm...

@James: You are free to express whatever opinions you want. Not generally wise though...it paints a pretty big target on you. Either the killer will take you out or the mob will get suspicious and take you out instead.

We are a fickle bunch. We kill any voice that we hear. :p

@JJE: You can, but it's best to just sent your vote to me silently through a PM. No targets on you that way. Speaking of which.

[HEADING=1]Still need a vote from Hman121 by the end of the day or his vote are forfeit and I will go to my tiebreaker![/HEADING]

@Neo: Well, have we heard anything from Hman since the last game? After all, he was supposed to GM this round and had all of Element's info. And yet, we haven't even seen a post from him.

@WarP: He sent me a PM and a number, that's why he's in. I'm a bit pissed now. I may have to ask the killer to perform a good old fashioned ritual mercy killing.

@Neo: Gotta love reliability of that magnitude, eh?

Handy that we have serial killers to perform such a useful service to the general public. Really, we need a serial killer appreciation day to thank all the serial killers of the world for their diligent work cleaning the streets of our fair city.

Wait a second...don't misquote me on that. It could seem suspicious if taken out of context. >.<

@Link: Just looking at that post makes you kinda suspicious. Still, I'm not about to change my vote or anything.

@CA: Well, I do kinda have a suspicious face. I keep getting "wrongly accused" of running a "prostitution racket" simply because the man wants to keep me down.

I swear I'm not pimping my associates to high powered politicians outside the 7-11. That would be a ridiculous accusation and I'm offended that anyone would even say it. >.<

@Link: Perfectly understandable. All you do is provide a service for those fine politicians who keep your country running. It's a legitimate business, providing company for people who can find themselves lonely at times. You just happen to charge somewhat high prices, is all.

@Fragrance: Random question for you. I'm thinking about which sets and/or blocks to include in the MtG RP. Trying to decide where the limit should be set: either Ravnica or Kamigawa will be the oldest cards we can pick from.

Also trying to decide how many spells each character can have at their disposal, since they'll be getting more as they become accustomed to the world on which they land. I will, of course, allow duplicate spells as per a regular Magic deck.

@Schiz: He's been back, he's just been lurking in the shadows waiting to pounce on the punners.

Also I'm calling this vote within the hour.

@Neo: I await with bated breath. Or until I pass out from the lack of air. Whichever comes first, I guess.
