Serial Killer Round 38: The Round We Make Contact (It's All Over!)

@concerts: I have never gone to one yet. There is this band from my home town who's signed with a record label who I'd like to see but I never had the money to go :/

@Concerts: Only been to one so far. Disturbed, A7X, Stone Sour and Halestorm were all up in my neck of the woods. All good bands. I felt sorry for disturbed tho, for haveing to follow up A7X's performance. They were damned good.

@avatars: Still haven't given up on my idea for creating an avatar composed of my roleplaying characters... even though I now have a couple extra that I need to add to the list. For those interested, all the major characters under my control are detailed below with links to their respective threads.

@CA: Yeah jeez, I'm falling behind. I've only got seven characters in action right now. (Two in SoJ, One in One Piece, Demigods, TWEWY, Elementals and technically Indigo, though there are a lot of NPCs there.)

@Neo: I didn't count Catherine and Spoon, seeing as they will only be around for SoJ3. Their impact on Katie and Rowan, however, will remain. I shall be sure of that. =)

@Nouw: The problem with my idea is that I have no artistic talent and I'm not sure I know any artists who will do this for free. I can't afford to pay for it. >.<

Though I wouldn't say that the number of threads one is in corresponds to any particular level of skill... I just like writing, and do it as often as possible.

The trick to improving one's writing talent is to do more and more writing... at least, that's what people consistently tell me. So perhaps joining open threads (good ones, mind you) is the way to go. I'm pretty sure Your Blood In My Veins is still accepting applicants, even though it's started: you'd have to ask Void about that, though.

@CA: I have noticed that Role Playing (not necessarily here, but in general) has somewhat boosted my creativity. Unfortunately, the ability to get what's in my head onto the paper seems to have died a little =/

@Malyc: A common issue with writers, myself included at times. There is a barrier between one's mind and the page, but just keep at it and eventually you'll figure out how best to translate your thoughts into written word.

Although I don't use this idea myself (it was suggested to me by my girlfriend) perhaps you could try having a pen and paper constantly at hand, and writing down things as they come into your head?

@CA: Now if it was a simple avatar like say yours right now I'm sure the Avatar store could do it for you but since it's a fairly large and time-consuming thing I don't think they could do it. Sorry, I'm a bit stuck on who you could ask. If I ever see an artist-for-hire-for-free in Auckland I'll tell you xD.

Aaah yes, the good 'old practice makes perfect. I do agree with that. Maybe I should try more than one RP at a time. Or maybe I just need someone to critique it since my school grades don't really tell me how to improve.
