Just mentioning from my phone how Skye, who made me take my decision and kill Ynnek has barely gotten a single bad word.
But I, who at least had a good (from my point of view) reason for doing what I did and tried to help get all the scorn.

I have a explanation for the "aggressive" remark I made about you, Sky, but I won't bother writing on my phone more than I have to.

And if you still see my actions as random, hostile and "dumb", as I (according to you) had no idea if it was going to work or not, I could discuss them with you later, and perhaps show you what made me do it.
Hopefully, this will happen in a more quiet, open and objective way, things we all need to work on to fully understand each other.

Also, writing on smatphones takes ages...

@Steke: See, the thing about Skye's actions is that she did it purely for fun. You, on the other hand, appear to have done things entirely for your own gain.

@Steke: Alright, I'm willing to wait until you get back (or in my case, tomorrow) for you to try and explain things more clearly for us.

I'd try and talk more now anyway, but I just did exercise for once, and I'm about to pass out....

@CA Fun = the enjoyment of pleasure. Goes under personal gain.

I think I'll stop now. There's no need to draw this out any longer.

@Steke: I know you still think you made the right move, but you're not going to convince everyone else. I'll admit, what you did was pretty clever. Just don't do this again. I've had enough drama to last ten of these games.

@AngryMob: You're upset. I understand where you guys I coming from, but it's time to move on. Live and let live.

@Steke: Look pal, I wasn't mad at you I really realized the full extent of your lies.

You know, all you had to do with me was give your reasoning for killing Ynnek. That was it. In fact, the only reason I went along with it was because I came to the same conclusion that you say you did behind the scenes. No matter the situation, killing Ynnek was beneficial. Had you just spelled that out, I would still be able to trust you.

But kid, I really hate being lied to. It doesn't matter if it was by you, by Skye, or by CounterAttack. If I know I have been mislead, I become mistrustful. And your lie...it was so elaborate. It was designed to manipulate and push a speculative agenda. Heck, Skye didn't even initially send out a list that matched her questions (which in retrospect should have been a giant red flag). But you claimed that Berenzen was saying he was the spy. You claimed you had the spy working on your side with a large group. You claimed you had people backing you. You've apparently claimed you were the spy to get people to kill you.

Steke, the problem I have with you is that even when you are caught in a lie, you don't apologize or fess up to it as a mistake. You cackle manically and said it was all part of some master plan. That really doesn't sit right with me. :/

I like to think that I'm friends with most of the people I play this with. But I refuse to have a friend who is so carefree with honesty. I am fast to trust people a first time but slow to trust a second time.

@RaN: Yes. This is all a game. And yes, it did get blown out of proportion. Such is the way of the internet. Frankly, I was part of the problem and I apologize for that.

Honestly though, no one would have gotten this riled up if it hadn't been for Steke's attitude in the first place. It would have only taken a little transparency and people's feathers would have never been ruffled.

Edit: Hehe, you beat me to the punch. Still, it stands.

@CA Not sure if I should laugh or faceplam. I'll just do both.

So if I had done it for fun, would it be ok?
Or if Skye had done it for her own gain, would that be bad?
I think you see the holes in your logic here.

Besides, I never did this for my own gain. In fact, I'm kind of surprised I'm still alive.
Painting a target on my back, making myself a target for lynching in this round and many to come, never being able to be fully trusted again and being aware that this would happen?
If I did this for personal gain, I would be a utter fool.

I did it for this reason:
Ynnek could be the Killer, as all I knew at the time suggested he might be.
If I was wrong, and he was the Spy, we would still have a list with nine names, and the Killer would be found in a short number of rounds.
Or he was innocent and not the Spy, and we had just lost a random player, but that would happen anyway. We would also know that his list was fake, and could move on to using Skye's list and if nothing else having got rid of a fake Spy.

In short, if there were a way this could have gone wrong, I wouldn't have done it.

@Link: Yay! I'm somebody's friend! *continues plotting Link's murder* Someday...
@staika: You watch MLP, and that's good enough for me! ;)
@Gamebrother: Alas, I have never been anything but a lame for slaughter, so I can see why some might get bored and decide to shake things up a bit.

@Link Well I felt a little bad for using you, being so damned cooperative and all.
I guess I get what you are saying, but I have a different view of things. I do take honestly lightly, I am always the one that answers "wale guts" when someone asks where the artificial sweetener in Pepsi comes from, and can then spend minutes convincing the other why it is so.

I just don't have a very negative view of lying. I see it as a for of expression, sometimes better than or equal to truth. But enough philosophy for today, I will not rant away with my thoughts about duality.
I just try never to intentionally harm anybody.

When I first reviewed my own info, and tried to see it with other eyes, I saw how scarce my evidence was, and how I, had I not know all that was behind, I would not believe myself.
I saw it as the best solution at the time. It was most likely a mistake, but I did as I saw best.

Chance is, you probably won't come any closer to trusting me now, but that wasn't the intention of this post. I just felt like sharing a piece of my mind.
