Correct. Or at least that's my understanding. And obvious you can't vote is the other thing.
Alright, wanted to be clear on that before saying anything that may be relevant. Not that I have anything much to say yet!

Heh, the trickster is a jerk.
On the side of evil no doubt!

Of course it could be you trying to deflect suspicion! But really if anyone I might suspect the people who tried gunning for me since as gritch pointed out at the bottom of page 7 there's no benefit to killing me this early. On the other hand they may just have not considered that logic... and the killer may have just kept silent and let others do the work for them since my announcement did lead to a lot of speculation either way.

I tried to ask everyone to pick a target to avoid a roulette. >.>

So let's wait and see who the killer takes out and pick a target.

Well, there goes the neighborhood. Kind of sad I never got to act, but I have to admit this is a pretty hilarious result.

@Secondhand Revenant: I didn't want to say anything to influence people's decisions while things were still in the air, but I knew you were doomed from the moment you announced yourself. Even if not a single innocent or good player decided you were suspicious, the Killer and Lawyer were obviously going to vote for you, and if the Trickster wanted to introduce chaos, having the priest and spy both gone in the first round was an obvious move, so that's 5 nearly guaranteed votes, while everyone else's votes would be scattered for lack of another target. Your only hope would have been to have an innocent sacrifice himself by asking everyone else to vote for him in order to increase your chances of survival.

A lesson for future rounds.
I did consider that we needed coordinated voting, the problem was I was hesitant to suggest it since then it would definitely look like I had an ulterior motive to out myself as the priest. I suppose I could have asked someone else to try and take it over. Like even you since you can still talk and discuss.

Also I made a very early vote for Armadox since he seemed a bit suspicious

Since @Demagogue said the dead can discuss openly available evidence, I'd like to point out that we now know that @Aerosteam can be trusted, since it is known for a fact that he did not vote for the priest's execution. He is neither the Killer, the Lawyer, nor the Trickster.

Cancel that. I mistook the meaning of that message. Someone voted for Aerosteam, and the vote was removed. Resume suspicions.

Wait, how do we know this? We know he can't be the trickster, but I don't see the other ones.

Well, we are screwed. Now we have nothing to go on but our regular suspicions and it seems the trickster wants the killer to win. The priest first outed himself and then got further outed for no good reason. Then the rest of the good guys was too stupid to coordinate their votes so the baddies had free reign. Their votes being anonymous means they just killed our priest and thus our spy with impunity. I've always played similar games with open voting lists so I hadn't realised just how easy it is for the bad guys to rig the voting in their favour. Maybe we can still fix this but we done fucked up hard. I am first of all very curious who voted for whom. Asking for that might tell us something interesting.

I voted for DoPo, having cast my vote earlier than I otherwise would have because I had misunderstood the time we were supposed to vote. I chose him because at the time he was inactive.

I'm also keeping my eyes on Armadox who told everyone who the priest was and Crimson5Pheonix for further accusing Secondhand Revenant. In this instance if he is the lawyer or otherwise siding with the killer outing the priest and accusing him seems like a smart thing to do for a bad guy. If we can't find out anything interesting of who people claim to have voted for, I am voting for Armadox.

edit: also important, I'll be less active the coming days (at least until sunday) because of examinations, birthdays, that kind of thing.
To be fair to Armadox I admitted it myself! I let it slip then edited the post. Then I reconsidered again and decided it was too much of a risk the lawyer or killer saw it before my edit and figured I'd ask for the mercy of the medic.

On the other hand this may be a slip or merely a mistake but in post 219, Armadox says "That seems pretty reckless to just toss out such a claim to a bunch of people on pm for no reason. Why even worry about sending out a message at all."

Thing is... I only PMed ONE person and I never made that public in the thread until I reply to correct him. So... either he made a surprisingly coincidental mistake or someone told him. Suggesting to me that Armadox and gritch (the only person I PMed, I made this public in post 220) may be the lawyer and killer pair. Now I wouldn't want to punish gritch for being the victim of me accidentally spilling info to him so I say you live ones kill Armadox. If he's the lawyer then you live ones may have to kill gritch.

In the end I think Armadox saying I PMed people looks a bit close to a slip up with information he shouldn't have had access to if he were innocent and only would have if someone shared it, suggesting working together. And the only people who would be working together are the killer and lawyer

It means Aerosteam isn't the trickster is all

@Secondhand Revenant: (Moved from group chat) If they think I'm involved with the game, they're probably an old or oldish player.

gritch might be implying that someone should vote for me here. Hmm.

Well, this is going well. We lost the priest and the spy immediately. I have no idea who to suspect, so I guess I'll suspect aerostream.

Well I'm new and I got that impression already from people talking in the thread.

Well that would explain why the trickster stole one off you, if he thought gritch was gonna vote for you.

Also what do you think of my speculation about Armadox? Doesn't it seem like an odd slip?

@Crawler: Not gonna lie, even if you weren't going to vote for me, tossing out a name for no reason is pretty suspicious.

@Revenant: I think gritch is the Trickster, since he was trying to get people to vote for me so he was able to use his ability to add two votes to you. As for Armadox, what exactly did he do? Honestly I haven't read all the posts in the thread fully because this one is moving a bit faster than others.

@Dema: Oh please. I'm wondering when you're gonna screw something up next.

In post 219 he said "That seems pretty reckless to just toss out such a claim to a bunch of people on pm for no reason. Why even worry about sending out a message at all."

He was talking about me saying I'm the priest. The thing is I only PMed gritch originally because I had quoted him and asked him to keep quiet. Then I changed my mind and admitted it myself. So the question is why is Armadox talking about PMs when previously I hadn't mentioned them. I only mention them to correct him in post 220

So either he made a mistake or gritch told him and he let information slip that he shouldn't know.

Edit: to clarify further, the only reason he'd say I pmed people is if he just made some sort of mistake OR if gritch told him. And gritch would only have reason to share if there's a lawyer-killer relationship going on there. So I say kill Armadox and if he was the lawyer then go for gritch.

@arrowsteam everyone's suspicious to me. As long as anyone else dies, means it's not me. That at the trickster took a vote from you. Something involved you, which makes me put my eyes on you.

@Fractral: But it has female masturbation in it! Oh wait, that might make it worse within its own context... :p

Oh well... At least there's no tentacle rape[footnote]unless they're shaped more like dicks than actual tentacles, I guess...[/footnote]... or worse: NTR! *shutters*

@Secondhand Revenant: FUCK! I did not vote for you!
<color=white>Calm down, FPLOON... It's wasn't you fault...
@Dr. Crawver: I feel like the only reason why the Trickster did that was so that "people" like you could suspect Aerosteam, thus leading to his "pending" execution when the next voting period starts...

Sorry. Must have missed that bit of information in between the torrent of innuendos between you and FPLOON. =P

I'd also like to point out some of accusations actually came before roles were even assigned as well. I thought the robot racist angle was funny enough so I stuck with it. I very strongly posted my wanting to avoid executing Revenant. That would seem a bit counter productive if my eventual goal was to have him executed.

But honestly this round you do seem suspicious. I've found your lack of comments very odd. Normally if someone wants to do something stupid like execute someone whose claimed to be the Priest before I can even finish typing my rebuttal you're on the case. You're not doing that is round which I find odd and in general your volume of posts seems to have shrunk since the role assignments were made. You're the same guy who last round [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/362.877292-Serial-Killer-Round-67-Mutineering-Massacre-Cycle-1-Voting-Phase?page=2#22088355] followed the game so closely as to make note when people were logging on between announcements. Maybe you're busier in RL or maybe the odd banter between crimson and FPLOON is drowning it all out.

It's not hard evidence barely even enough for even a suspicion but I figured if we want to post some theories I'd lay mine out there as well.

Yes, I actually am really busy at the moment. All week me and my mum have been moving stuff from the our old home to a temporary one which we'll stay in while the new house is getting built.
So no, I haven't had the time to be active in this game as much as I usually am.
