@Secondhand Revenant: We had people executed a dude over his name despite having no reason to. His username was

A lamp, for some reason.

The worse offense was during one Round, the Killer murdered [user]username sucks[/user]. During that same Round, the guy had his boyfriend IRL playing the game. For some reason, people expected that the Killer had to be, *gasp* username suck's boyfriend! They executed him right after but, guess what? He wasn't the Killer because who would murder their IRL boyfriend over a forum game???

These people. They'd execute you for any reason given.
Well he might want to silence his boyfriend in case he got too suspicious!

But yeah I definitely see why you'd link the proof of anime expo now XD

@FPLOON The Perv:

Be careful, I've heard even mentioning that you've seen, much less enjoyed, Boku no Pico is enough to get you put on Santa's naughty list. Or was it an FBI watchlist? One of those two

I say we vote for Caramel Frappe first. I want his top hat and this is as good a reason as any.

This is what happens with Jester and I not in play... nobody accuses Frappe of anything. :(

@Demagogue: Is there a reason DoPo and snekadid are listed as players even though I can't find a single post from them in the thread? And do you auto kill players for inactivity?
Demagogue said:
Because they signed up when we were getting started. I'm kind of surprised DoPo hasn't said anything as he's usually pretty active he could just be having a busy weekend/week so far. Depending on where he lives there are holidays at the start of July. Same goes for snekadid.
Pretty much this. But there are no holidays, there is only Zuul we are preparing a release at work, so it's a bit busier than usual.

They're online, but are they posting? Like I said, I'm fairly certain my profile is online 24/7 due to my cellphone.
Also this - I leave my PC is on 24/7 and I've got, like 30 tabs open pretty much all the time, too. The Escapist is one of them. In fact, this thread and the chat are both pinned on my browser - the former is protected (can't be closed) the second protected and locked (can't be closed, can't navigate away). I just didn't have time to do much - I've been catching up with the entire thread so far. And damn, it had progressed with, like, 7 pages since I last looked at it two days ago.

But I apologise for not being active enough. I'll try my best for the future.

@Fat_Hippo the Captain of SS Obvious: One: considering Santa's true ethnicity/origins, that does not surprise me one bit...
Two: The first OVA really does not give the full OVA series any true justice in my opinion... which is why I recommend those wishing to see this "artistic expression"[footnote]That's what the translations label it as, by the way...[/footnote] for themselves should, at least, see the first two OVAs before saying that "it shouldn't exist" or something like that...
Three: I've met the "FBI" once... It was pre-Pico viewing in general... It caused me to "brick" my laptop and immediately get a new one just to save all my hard drive "shit"... Coincidentally, it happened on the same week as watching MLP:FiM for the first time...

@FPLOON: I... just reading the wiki article has scarred me for life.
My psyche isn't made to withstand the things contained within that anime.
@Fat Hippo: That doesn't surprise me, though weirdly I'm glad stuff like that exists. Largely because it gives FPLOON something to do.

There I was in my room, praying. Readying myself for the inevitable. The spy had died too soon and it was already time for me to make my sacrifice.

As I waited, there was a knock on the door. Was it time? I went to answer only to be grabbed by a mob the second I opened the door. I tried to protest but...

And so out the airlock goes the priest. He was ready to die, but not like that...

I Was The Priest

Wow, I got everyone suspicious, but I was aiming to take him out round 2 under the assumption that it was a power play.

Yup I actually did slip up and decided to try to go all in for safety.

Still, I'm curious to see how many votes I got. It could be a matter of the votes being spread out then the killer and lawyer plus one or two others aiming for me.

[HEADING=2]The trickster had a vote removed from Aerosteam and two votes added to Secondhand Revenant[/HEADING]

Dun Dun Dun!

So as a dead guy I can discuss things freely? Just can't provide evidence? With evidence being like... things we discover with our roles or PMs (I have none for evidence just checking for future reference)? Trying to reason with what we have out in the open being fair game?

Correct. Or at least that's my understanding. And obvious you can't vote is the other thing.

Well, we are screwed. Now we have nothing to go on but our regular suspicions and it seems the trickster wants the killer to win. The priest first outed himself and then got further outed for no good reason. Then the rest of the good guys was too stupid to coordinate their votes so the baddies had free reign. Their votes being anonymous means they just killed our priest and thus our spy with impunity. I've always played similar games with open voting lists so I hadn't realised just how easy it is for the bad guys to rig the voting in their favour. Maybe we can still fix this but we done fucked up hard. I am first of all very curious who voted for whom. Asking for that might tell us something interesting.

I voted for DoPo, having cast my vote earlier than I otherwise would have because I had misunderstood the time we were supposed to vote. I chose him because at the time he was inactive.

I'm also keeping my eyes on Armadox who told everyone who the priest was and Crimson5Pheonix for further accusing Secondhand Revenant. In this instance if he is the lawyer or otherwise siding with the killer outing the priest and accusing him seems like a smart thing to do for a bad guy. If we can't find out anything interesting of who people claim to have voted for, I am voting for Armadox.

edit: also important, I'll be less active the coming days (at least until sunday) because of examinations, birthdays, that kind of thing.

Well, there goes the neighborhood. Kind of sad I never got to act, but I have to admit this is a pretty hilarious result.

@Secondhand Revenant: I didn't want to say anything to influence people's decisions while things were still in the air, but I knew you were doomed from the moment you announced yourself. Even if not a single innocent or good player decided you were suspicious, the Killer and Lawyer were obviously going to vote for you, and if the Trickster wanted to introduce chaos, having the priest and spy both gone in the first round was an obvious move, so that's 5 nearly guaranteed votes, while everyone else's votes would be scattered for lack of another target. Your only hope would have been to have an innocent sacrifice himself by asking everyone else to vote for him in order to increase your chances of survival.

A lesson for future rounds.
