Aw, man, my gut is always wrong. Except the one time it was right.

Well, on the plus side, this means that my risk vs. reward plan for round 4 didn't have to happen.
Were you the medic?

From what snekadid told me, I do have to say that I was the lawyer. I was also Whisper, which was hilarious. Fun fact, the only role I didn't know was the medic.

It was either Headsprouter or Jux on the chopping block this round, depending on medic.

And to their credit, it took a lot of convincing to get the doppelganger on our side.

@EvilRoyNotComrade: I will say this:

AltnameJag was your lawyer, right? I'm going to call it before it's made public. This round's been one hell of a roller coaster and what an awesome way to end it.

And I have to say that's an awesome death post. I wish I had enough creativity to write something like that. You done good you dirty American Swine. Perhaps if we had met under different circumstances I might have even been willing to call you a comrade.

Good luck GMing the next round.

EDIT: Called the Lawyer too! Woo hoo! Not that it did me much good. I was still typing my message when AltnameJag posted his reveal.

I was thinking the Medic wouldn't protect 'sprouter this round to try and give them a chance at a second question.

Yup. And my plan was to not protect Headsprouter this round, as he'd be killed immediately come round 5 before he could ask his question. I was gonna gamble on the Killer assuming I'd protect him for the round and go for somebody else, and then protect the Spy the following round, letting him ask his question and share it with us in peace.
Of course, that all hinged on A) The Killer not targeting the Spy and B) The Killer not targeting me.

...And I did a really crappy job protecting people this round anyway, so it probably would've failed.

Honestly, I wouldn't blame you.
But I did want to have my suspicion taken care of ASAP, which is why I was quick to go back to wanting to take down my first target.

I was also somewhat suspicious of Crimson, since he sent me a PM saying he was worried someone might have slipped up about him. Figured this might have been a red herring or reverse psychology or SOMETHING he was saying to keep one more person from voting for him.
@crimson5pheonix Kind of curious, did you send that PM to multiple people, or just me? And if just me, why the hell would you trust a jester?

Is the Doppelgänger(Yeah I am putting the ä in there because I am a classy ************) Crimson by any chance?
Nah, never did get crimson. Only got a couple people, tbh. Tough crowd. I was gonna try for Jux, but then they killed my boss.

I sent it to multiple people, with different names to vote on. My hope was either that everyone would take me at face value scattering the vote so I could use my power to kill my target (I was the trickster by the way) or that everyone would get suspicious and ask each other if they got a message from me, at which point I would hope everyone noticed that I gave the names of the people from the tie round EXCEPT for altnamejag. Sadly neither happened >.>

Bahahaha, that was good. Good indeed. But pleasepleaseplease tell us who the traitors were. You don't even need to say what role they had, considering two of the three would have been the lawyer and the doppelganger.

pleeeeaase, I promise not to vote for you next round.
Hmm, I would feel bad revealing this, although seriously you should be able to guess. Like dead serious, one of them gave himself away just today and the other did a heel face turn. I'll leave it up to them to reveal themselves, or yourselves to guess.

@DeeCeeJayeff

Preeeetty sure you were just looking for your last will and testament to be fulfilled all round.

@Itchgr

Ah, thankee. I hope you can understand why I had to work the pity/persecuted angle so hard now. It was basically what was keeping me alive.

I do have to say that description of you is almost entirely because of that profile pic...

You were so quiet I didn't even suspect you. Though if Roy was the lawyer I'd have gone for you next as the only other open vote for DCJF first round aside from myself.

Frappe was the doppelganger wasn't he? All the other roles have been named and he was so oddly protective of Roy.

I told the spy he should tell the medic to do that in case the killer assumed head was safe and didn't take a stab at him at all. I figured at worst we lost his vote.

I thought of that too and told the spy to try it. It's why I tried to tell everyone to tell the spy their roles so he could communicate with you.

Apparently wouldn't have worked since altname thought of it too. But was worth a shot.

Me Dema and Hippo shared right at the end. But you tried to tell me and Dema to kill kingofkumquats when he was already dead I believe.

Tbh I didn't trust you and was waiting to see if the killer stabbed you which is what I would assume he'd do if you didn't join him and we didn't look like we were going to kill you. If you lived I was gonna take the PM public.

Lawyer powers. We were going to wait to get you until after Head and Jux, but we didn't get that far. Speaking of:

The reason why I didn't get Lux killed earlier was because the dude PMed me super early. Getting him killed after he PMed me would of been an automatic red flag that I ratted em out... so I let him live for the time being. We figured, what with Jux telling you they were the arbiter, that we'd give them a round in between to try and trow them off your scent. If we offed Jux right away, signs would point to you, and if you got executed Headsprouter's list would've actually been relevant.

It was a gamble.

*hangs head in shame* I betrayed you all... mid-day yesterday after our failed attempt to kill Roy in round three I had enough and switched teams. Just in time to lose the game.... LOL

In my defence I was trying to take Frappe out with my defection too, as it was part of my conditions to switch. I didn't know what he was, but I was going to get him killed if not by my hand, then by the killer's. He just was flashing way too many warning signs.

Sadly, my new employer died before he could fulfil his obligations.

And so my American ally has bitten the dust ... I did all that I could. Sorry Roy, the gig is up my friend.

@All: I was the Doppleganger, as a few guessed correctly. I did have a role, and it was exactly that ... though, the good news was even when discovered- people would assume I was on the good side. I was never on your guy's side. I tried to clear Roy from suspicion and did everything I could to turn the course of the Round.

Funny enough, I didn't do anything evil (Dirty's execution was not planned nor did I vote for em but it happened). Scars Unseen was also something I didn't plan, but everything else was part of the plan. See, I wanted Armadox to die NOT because he's evil .. but because he was the perfect diversion. Already a chaotic neutral lad, it would make sense to justifying in executing him with my American comrades.

The reason why I voted for king and wanted him dead ... was because I KNEW he was the Priest all along. Making it appear like I didn't know after he activated his role would let me escape suspicion, even if people kept an eye on me. Alas, things didn't go accordingly to plan because Secondhand was too strong on my Killer so we had to deal with public opinions. Didn't help that my "reactions" to the suspicions only increased the suspicions altogether. The reason why I didn't get Lux killed earlier was because the dude PMed me super early. Getting him killed after he PMed me would of been an automatic red flag that I ratted em out... so I let him live for the time being. However, I do not know why Roy didn't have him killed sooner because Lux was the reason we lost this game.

Was a fun Round, and I must say it was quite satisfying to see I totally sabotaged Head's list of suspects. I liked how effective my role was. Also, to not forget people-

@Armadox: Nice drawing, as always. I like how well you add emotion into the characters.
I was right about my suspicions of you then! Jux made me stop suspecting you. A bit late but still XD

If anyone else had tried the innocent Roy angle you took I'd have been dead certain they were the doppelganger. I was only not certain because you seem like you would possibly let sympathy sway you while most don't

Also why did you mention you have a role? Was it an attempt to make contact like I suspected?
