@FLPOON ultimately I could be more evil, but I can't be arsed, creating a sort of evil feedback loop. I think you max out on sloth points pretty early on though thanks to reality tv so I won't get caught in an infinite loop.
As it stands I may be up poop creek anyway! First they wanted to kill me because I didn't talk enough, so I started talking a lot and now they want to kill me because I won't shut up! If I go quiet again it will only confirm their suspicions, but if I keep talking they will probably think I'm trying to psyche them ausche and kill me for that! AAAAAAAAA! The only thing I've figured out is half the people want to kill the quiet people, and the other half want to kill the people who were quiet but then heard they might get killed for being quiet so they started talking!

Come on, make a new page and ruin everyone's bookmarks.... Edit: SHIT
@EvilRoy: If it makes you feel any better, I only vote for those who aren't on my friends list most of the time...

@gritch: You seem to have put the most thought into this, so I'm going to follow your vote. In any case, it's better if as many people as possible vote together to avoid random executions, especially in this first cycle without any evidence.
So it's already two votes for EvilRoy and anyone who wishes to add to them is welcome.
So based off this, using gritch & DCJ's logic all but tf2godz, Headsprouter,Secondhand Revenant, and Armadox are possible suspects. And really if we want to go off who has increased their posting amount the most then the first suspect should have been DCJ not EvilRoy.
At least DCJ had the decency of suggesting voting for someone who has been completely inactive so far this round. Beating out Aerosteam by a whopping 1 post. While his logic of someone inactive as a killer since we had a slow start, you also have to remember that snekadid himself was out until the 25th so many people would have stopped paying attention to the thread for the weekend. When they got back there was 7 pages of non-sense to get through before the actual game started.
snekadid assigned out the killer's role sometime after 9:42PM on August 24th, and the killer had gotten back to him some time before 9:00PM on the 26th, that's just shy of a perfect 48 hours turn around and considering the slow start to the round that we all KNEW was coming (snekadid said he would be gone until the 25th)
@Caramel Frappe: Next tuesday, the 25th since i wont be done with the wedding till the 24th. OK I promise to set the thread up tomorrow after work..... too sleepy, thank god google has spell check or this would be gibberish. it could still be..... not sure of grammar or sentence structure at this point.
So it isn't surprising in the least that the killer may have been a little slow getting back to him, they probably got the PM while they were away at work or school for the day.
Now, with that out of the way... my turn to point fingers!
Guilty Parties:
Secondhand Revenant:
Reason - He was the first person to start chanting for people's death pre-game, where he wanted EvilRoy dead... and lo and behold that's who people are targeting. Very lawyery if you ask me...
OR
Caramel Frappe:
Reason - Also started targetting people pre-game, in fact two people, comarades gritch and Fat_Hippo. Most of us know the events of last round, and yet here they are again being done by the exact person who wanted a rule in place to prevent it in the future. A very American trait if you ask me... expect the world to live by one set of rules, while they do as they please.
He also is unable to use our glorious and logical metric system, instead resorting to the imperial system of pesants.
Finally, his constant posts of nothingness just to update his bookmark, a lazy american tactic if I have ever seen one for sure!
OR
crimson5pheonix:
Reason - threatened SR after the game started... now obviously he couldn't kill SR round one or his threat would be too big a red herring, but I would not be surprised if the next round or two has SR perishing.
He also is attempting to confuse our brothers and sisters, by refering to the traitor as a spy instead of the killer they are. Confusion allows for subtle sneakiness to go unnoticed.
@Demagogue Holy shit dude you pay more attention to my posting than I do. At any rate, I have accepted my bonage. Oh what the bloodthirsty masses will do to kill one innocent comrade before his time. Oooooh what they will do to strike one more name off the list while de spy walks among them. It is only now that I know true regret for my conscription.
@DCJF Eh, you said yourself that the killer could have intentionally delayed. And you seem just sneaky enough to do it... DUM DUM DUUUUUM
@crimson DAMMIT. I had that shit on lockdown. Come on.
@DCJf Eh, you're right I mis-remembered who talked about it. I thought someone was talking about skilled players in the past and how they would totally pull a round delay but I wasn't willing to dig through ten pages with such a high percentage of tongue to confirm who.
Also, I don't actually know what you mean by ghost-quoting... I do the @ thing because that seems the common approach to forum games threads, but this is the only the second time I've ever played. I don't know any of the tricks for this stuff yet.
I'll put out that I decided to vote for a suspiciously inactive player. My gut says don't trust the bandwagon this round, but I'm probably only going to be the only one voting for them.
@ioau Like dat? Never even thought to try. I don't actually receive quote notifications because my messaging system is fucked, so I had no idea people were doing it to me. I receive WAY TOO MANY group notifications to make up for it.
@fDCJ It had crossed the mind, but honestly I'm fine with it as it is. I don't need notifications, I just read the threads and if someone responds to me and I have something to say back then I will. Sometimes I miss stuff, but I like not being badgered by bings in general.

Wow, I didn't realize I was the most active member ... I mean, every category has me with a higher ratio on something lol.
But i'm not quoting you on that. Rather, it's your evidence ... like where / when did I claim wanting gritch and Fat_Hippo dead? If anything, I offered to help gritch create his Avatar here [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/362.881148-Serial-Killer-Round-70-Soviet-Submarine-Slaughter#22195274]. Oh and if you're referring to me calling out gritch on being the American Killer, please look again at my post here [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/362.881148-Serial-Killer-Round-70-Soviet-Submarine-Slaughter?page=3#22200268].
Just to be clear, i'm joking. PLEASE don't execute him because I was pointing a finger. We don't want that nonsense happening like last Round, do we? I swear to jebus if you guys execute someone because I was poking fun at someone who looked up Wiki / Google, i'ma be very disappointed in you lot.
You might as well include kingofkumquats since I teased about him being the Killer, however, included the fact his superhero is dressed in the Russian flag's colors. You can see for yourself here [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/362.881148-Serial-Killer-Round-70-Soviet-Submarine-Slaughter?page=3#22200558].
As for Fat_Hippo, I made fun of his Avatar being a fat hippo because Americans tend to overeat. Yet, in my post I included this important piece in case anyone really thought about executing our friend, see for yourself here [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/362.881148-Serial-Killer-Round-70-Soviet-Submarine-Slaughter?page=3#22200757].
Now the math bit, yea you got me there. I suck at math and can't solve anything to save my life so I went with the basic math rather then some complicated algebra taught in a different country (because I am an American IRL who's struggling with the IRL math system sadly). Also you got me again with the last bit about being lazy ... having to bookmark the pages. My fault really for resorting to such a shameful tactic than simply carrying a conversation here or something.
He started by accusing me of my behavior being lawyery when said behavior was on the second page before the killer was even picked. I think he's joking.
If memory serves that round when we "decided" to vote for SecondhandRevenantComrade we lost because the survivors were fragmented and let the Killer/Lawyer get most of the control over executions. I think we stand a better chance if we vote together. Even if it's wrong it at least takes some power away from the Killer/Lawyer.
Thread Start Date: Aug 17
Game Start Date: Aug 28
So based off this, using gritch & DCJ's logic all but tf2godz, Headsprouter,Secondhand Revenant, and Armadox are possible suspects. And really if we want to go off who has increased their posting amount the most then the first suspect should have been DCJ not EvilRoy.
Damn man. That took a lot of effort to put together. And it's useful. I couldn't be bothered to spend the time to do that. I'd like to look at the analysis a little bit closer however and suggest some slight modifications.
Most people are going to post more once the game starts - we just have more to talk about. I suggest the Killer's activity would increase after the role had been accepted rather than after the game started.
snekadid assigned out the killer's role sometime after 9:42PM on August 24th, and the killer had gotten back to him some time before 9:00PM on the 26th, that's just shy of a perfect 48 hours turn around and considering the slow start to the round that we all KNEW was coming (snekadid said he would be gone until the 25th)

If DCJComrade and my theory is correct I would expect an increase in postings starting at on the 26th not the 28th. I might also expect an increase after I suggested the Killer might be inactive on the 29th [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/362.881148-Serial-Killer-Round-70-Soviet-Submarine-Slaughter?page=7#22213146]. And honestly it's not just the frequency of his posts but rather the timing that I find suspicious. He's posted within minutes of both GMKittyComrade saying the Killer had accepted his role [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/362.881148-Serial-Killer-Round-70-Soviet-Submarine-Slaughter?page=4#22208902]. This suggests he was active when that information was made available to the GM. At least consistent with him being the Killer.
This isn't really hard evidence but it's goddamn round one and I thought it'd be smarter to try something rather than randomly vote again. I will be sorry if EvilRoyComrade(?) turns out to be innocent but I think given the information currently available to me he's a logical choice.
@Secondhand Revenant: .. Oh I know he is mostly joking. But i'm defending myself against the anonymous whom may take Demagogue's evidence seriously. There's been multiple times when people executed others for the silliest reasons imaginable so I don't want to take my chances.
My point was to illustrate how easy it is to make 'facts'. Although your superscripts in tiny font after the fact saying you are joking doesn't really prove your innocence. Saying I'm going to kill someone, then saying afterwards that I'm just joking doesn't mean I won't actually kill someone. It is a very poor attempt at misdirection.
@gritch: Ask and you shall recieve... I will NOT be keeping this updated... too many people with useless posts in this round.
Google Sheets [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1NA53wInnXktw-M9fhBP7FyFrlTllM_rgLQ3AEHYTBC0/edit?usp=sharing]
Things I've learnted[footnote]take that Crysan[/footnote] making this list.
1) Holy crap do some of you not WORK or have SCHOOL?
2) I'm going to target Crimson for the rest of the game, because about 90% of his posts have been ramblings, which I am going to take as an attempt to distract people.
3) gritch (or DCJ can't remember) pointed out that it may not have been the killer that was slow to act in cycle one. People are assuming so because they were slow to get back to snekadid originally.
4) EvilRoy & snekadid have overlapping forum usage. This doesn't make him the killer, it simply means that he is around when snekadid is. So are like half a dozen other people. We don't know when snekadid GOT the message, only when he read it, which is in the evenings EST.
