Firefly and Farscape are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head.

That had me laughing way more than it probably should have. Nathan is the man.

Even captcha thought it was funny.

Pirates of Dark Water. So much. (If anyone else remembers that show... and the SNES game. I played that thing so much - except it didn't have a save feature. At all. Don't think I ever beat it.)
You are my hero. I remembered this tv show and game from way back in the day, but I just couldn't remember the name. I really liked that game, and the cartoon was pretty kick ass from what I remember too.

2 that come to mind are Flash Forward, it had a poor start but by the end it was really really good in my opinion

and the second, remember loving it as a kid but dont know if anyone else remembers it... 100 deeds for Eddie McDowd, I never did get to see his 100 deeds.

Fucking Firefly...

I only started watching it yesterday, only finished episode 4, and I can tell already that it's something special.

Fuck you FOX.

Fuck you.
Late to the party, much?

OP: I quite liked Freaks and Geeks, it was shit that they only got one season that wasn't even fully aired.

stargate universe, series was getting great when it got canned.

chuck, always on the bubble, in danger of jumping the shark constantly, but they still managed to keep things fresh and interesting. avoiding the pitfalls of many other shows.

24 yea it had some crappy seasons, but where is my jack bauer fix.

farscape the series would have been better than that gawd awful movie, with more plot holes than a block of swiss cheese.

firefly just because it is required and was a tradegy.

I've wanted to watch it for a long time, I just never really got around to it until now.

I rather enjoyed a little US series called The Nine. Then it ended on a big fucking plot twist and got axed. Sheeeit.

The IT crowd.
That's actually not quite finished, from what I've heard their making a giant episode (could turn into a movie episode if there's enough content) to wrap everything up. However, this may have already happened and I missed it, as I am a bit of a derp.\

OP: As many others have said, Firefly. It's the ultimate in shows taken before their time.

Pushing Daises, it would have been great if they had at least been given enough time to properly tie up all the loose plot threads, it got axed just as it started to get interesting.

Damn, I fucking loved that show :(

Other than the obligatory ones already posted.

I wish Gargoyles and Batman Beyond had gone on for at least a few more seasons.

Finally, someone else. One short mention before and you, a shame really because that series was the bomb.
The facts were these: Campy, colourful, creative; ridiculous yet exciting murder of the weeks and a hilarious love story that came across both as woefully tragic and beautifully sweet at the same time.

Again, a poor victim of the dark age that was the writer's strike :c

Oh yeah, the usual suspects too, I guess: firefly, arrested development Lie to Me (although that one was getting kinda shitty after season 2).

Jeah Lie to me + Pushing Daises were awesome.

But seriously.. Lucky Star? How could they end it before the 3rd year? I won't accept that!
You can't tell me there was no audience for LS, that's bollocks.

Also: Magister Negi Magi - Worst ending of all movies/books/games/series/comics i've ever read/seen/played.
I'd really like to deck Ken directly in the face.

The Middle Man was clever and had many in-jokes and refrences; it only lasted 12 episodes though

I want to add an original one so...Firefly!

Just kidding.

Has ANYONE else seen, "Awake?"? Detective loses his wife in a car crash, wakes up with his son, mourns, goes to sleep...wakes up and his wife is fine, and his SON is dead. Keeps alternating between the 2 worlds, with 2 shrinks each insisting that this is the real world. Each world starts to appear as a dream where he is trying to contextualize the loss of a loved one, all while he keeps getting insights into homicide cases from the other world, which ultimately leads to a further insight into how he is dealing with loss. The show was a sci fi take on a remarkably moving drama, and even manages to feel like the most realistic police procedural on TV. It was pure genius...and it was canceled. Sure, not a lot of people watched it but it was so...good.
