there has to be one, i mean the cliff hanger ending at the end of jak x, it was amazing. But i did hear that naughty dog will either make uncharted 3 or another jak and daxter game next. I agree with all of you, it was my favorite series also, no matter how good U2 was, i need the dynamic duo back.

The team are reguarly cited as members of Mistwalker. In fact, I suspect the Nautilus in Lost Odyssey was named for this crew, just as in Shadow Hearts 2, where a weapon was named Nautilus.
I definately agree with the SSX sentiment. I loved that series and I'd freak out at the chance to play the series on current gen hardware. BLUR from the Wii doesn't technically count because A) it was just a remake of one of the earlier games with motion control trappings and B) it was about as much fun as punching yourself in the groin.
I want a new wave of games like the Snowblind engine games from the Xbox and PS2. Games like Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, Champions of Norrath, or X-men Legends and the like. I loved those games but the only thing we have seen this gen is the Marvel Ultimate Alliance games which have managed to strip out all the fun from using super powers to beat up hundreds of bad guys. I know, I didn't think it was possible either. These games were being released all the time just a few years ago and now they're nowhere to be seen. Dungeon crawls with lots of loot is a winning formula that doesn't take a ton of money to produce developers! GET TO WORK!!
I'd also love a current gen update to Zombies Ate My Neighbors. I realize the Live Arcade and PSN have dozens of zombie shooter games but none of them have even an ounce of ZAMN's charm and it needs to see an update of some kind. And as long as I'm waxing nostalgic, I want a sequel to SEGA's Chakan from the Genesis and a sequel to Eternal Champions from the Genesis and SegaCD.
EDIT: I see there's a few people who want a sequel to Star Wars: Battlefront. I'm with you! That was a great series with tons of potential. I loved both of the Xbox versions and I'd love to see them bring that series to the HD consoles. Whoever decided to strand that franchise on the PSP should be bonked on the noggin until they agree to move the series back to the PS3 and 360.
